SILENT HILL: NOWHERE

You're back with Lisa again, and she looks really worried about something.  She tells you that she went into the basement and got creeped out, like she had been there before.  She leaves and you hear a sound coming from the basement.  Exit the room and go down the elevator. 

1st Floor

Exit the elevator, and go into the 1st door on the right.  We'll call it the Bird cage room, for a lack of a better term.  Pick up the (1) handgun bullets and notice the key that is in the locked birdcage, and exit.   Go into the door in front of you, the Faucet room eh? and notice the key stuck in the faucet, and exit.  Enter the 3rd door on the right (the first door after you turn the corner), and you'll see a transparent Cheryl pass by you.  Enter what looks like the Antique store room, and pick up the (2) shotgun shells and the (3) first aid kit, and do save your game.  Before leaving, notice the grandfather and see that it has a key stuck inside it.  Enter the last door on the right, and go down the stairs into a room that resembles the one of the school's classrooms (wierd, huh?).  Inspect the desk in the middle of the room:

                                Go home.
                                Thief.
                                Drop Dead.

Go through the door in there and pick up the (4) screwdriver and (5) the pliers and exit.  Make your way back up to the room with the key stuck in the faucet, and use the pliers on it to get the (6) Key of "Ophiel."

Astrological Puzzle hallway  

Use the Key of "Ophiel" on the door marked "Ophiel" and enter the hallway.  Go into the 2nd door on the right (it is the only unlocked door in this hallway).  This room is an astrological puzzle.   Using the 4 pictures on the wall as a guide, you must input the correct numbers at each of the pictures on the pillar to retrieve the stone in the middle.  Enter 6 on the Capricorn on the left.  Enter 4 on the Taurus in the center, and enter 8 on the Scorpio on the right.  You might've guessed it but the signs are astrological signs for the months.  Pick up the (1) Stone of Time and exit.  At the end of the hallway, examine the slate on the wall:

                                Names engraved
                                 on a lithograph.
                                 The Grim Reaper's list.

                                 Yes the headcount is set
                                young and old lined up
                                in order of age.

                                Then the pathway openss
                                awaiting them the frenzied
                                uproar, the feast of death!

Creepy, ain't it? Head to the other end of the hallway, and examine a slate near the door there:

Now check out the door near this puzzle, at the end of the hallway.  It has a little console there to enter letters.  The above puzzle is the clue.  You must sort the people from youngest to oldest and record the 1st letter in their name.

So on the console, enter "ALERT" to unlock the door, and enter.  Enter the double doors inside and pick up (2) Amulet of Solomon, and exit.  In the room, you'll meet Lisa, who really looks bothered.   She tells you that she understand everything and that she is one of them, and she starts to bleed from everywhere.  You leave the room to avoid watching the horror, and witness the tragedy.  After the sequence, go back into the room to read her dairy:

                                Ask Doctor to let me quit being
                                in charge of that patient.

                                It's too wierd.
                                Still alive,
                                but with wounds that won't heal.

                                Told the doctor I quit.
                                Won't work at that
                                hospital anymore.
                                The room is filled with insects.

                                Even with doors
                                and windows shut
                                they get in to spite me.

                                To the hospital...

                                Feeling bad.
                                Need to throw up.
                                But nothing comes out.
                                Vomitting only bile.

                                Blood and pus flow from
                                the bathroom faucet

                                I try to stop it
                                but it won't turn off.
                                Need drug.

                                Help me...

Boy, did she have some problems.  However, the patient she is talking about sounds even worse.  If it wasn't for her unexpected death, she could have maybe told you more.  Is the drug that she is talking about the same one we saw in the safe.  Time to move on...  Go back to the Antique store room, with the grandfather clock.  Use the Stone of Time on the clock and get the (3) Key of "Hagith" and save your game.

2nd Floor

Go through the door marked "Hagith," which leads you to the elevator.  Take the elevator to the 2nd floor.  In the 2nd floor hall, go into the 3rd door on the left.  Pick up the (1) Crest of Mercury, (2) Rifle shells, and the (3) ring of Contract.  Exit and go through the double doors to the second part of this floor and enter the 1st room on the right.  Pick up the (4) camera, and the (5) handgun bullets, and exit.  Go to the end of the hall and enter the last room on the left, and unscrew the plate on the wall with the screwdriver to reveal a key that is encircled by electric wires.  Exit, unlock and go through the double doors on the right.  Make a right and go to the 3rd floor using the elevator.  

3rd Floor

You'll find yourself in front of an altar, with a picture on either side and 2 locked doors on either side.  Use your camera to take a picture of the left painting, which reveals a certain pattern.  Go to the left door and enter the pattern on the door:

Go into the left door and grab the (1) birdcage key

Go back to the right picture and snap another picture (the X's are the buttons to be pushed)

Go into the right door and grab the (2) health drink.  Read the book on the shelf, and there is a bookmark in there:

                        White Claudia
                                Perennial herb found near water.
                                Reaches height of 10 to 15 in.
                                Oblong leaves, white blossoms.
                                Seeds contain hallucinogen.
                                Ancient records show it was
                                used for religious ceremonies.
                                The hallucinogenic effect
                                was key.

White Claudia? that must be what the drug was made of.  Exit the room and go back to the 1st floor through the elevator.  Enter the bird cage room, and grab the (3) key of "Phaleg" after unlocking the bird cage.   Go through the door marked "Phaleg" and enter the 1st room on your right.   Use the ring of contract on the broken chain and get the (4) sword of Melchior.   Note: If you did not use the ring of contract before pulling the sword out, you would've ended up dying an amusing death.  Find out if you want.  Enter the next room on the right and grab the (2) health drink, (5) handgun bullets, and the (6) key of Bethor from the jelly bean bag.  Go through the door in the back and watch the tape again in the VCR, and this time it will be much clearer.  Exit both the rooms and enter the 2nd room on the left.  Grab the (7) Ankh from the wall.  Exit and use the key of Bethor on the 1st door on the left, and turn off the generator inside.  Go back to the room with the electrified key and grab the (8) key of "Aratron."   Come back to this hallway, and enter the door marked "Aratron"   Inside you'll see a flashback of Dahlia and 3 others gathered around someone, I think Alessa in bed.  After the flashback go to the picture of Alessa and grab the (9) disk of Ouroboros, and exit.  Enter the room directly acroos the hall, and save your game.  In the back of the room, there is a locked door that reads:

                            thou possess them
                            to guard thy spirit
                            evoke five rite
                            unveil thy fate

Use the Amulet of Solomon, Disk of Ouroboros, Crest of Mercury, Ankh, and Dagger of Melchior to unlock the door and enter.  You'll witness another flashback where Dahlia is struggling with Alessa, who looks young.   Head downtairs, and to the end of the game.

FINAL BOSS: WINGED DEMON       

This is it folks, all the players are gathered here.   Can you feel the excitement?   You are in a large room with Dahlia, Alessa and a body in a wheelchair.  Cybil tries to shoot Dahlia, but gets blown away, literally.  It turns out that Cheryl is Alessa's soul in a younger body.  When Alessa was involved in that accident with a fire, Dahlia split her soul into 2 pieces using a magical spell and deposit the other part into her newborn daughter, who you found on the on the side of the road, Cheryl.  That was about 7 years ago, and Alessa has been kept alive all thiss time with the demon feeding on her tormented soul.  You messed up her plans and weren't even supposed to make it this far.  Dr. Kaufmann will shoot Dahlia, and apparantly she has been using him to manufacture the drug Agloaphogis, whose purpose I think was to split the souls it comes into contact with.  After he shoots Dahlia, Cheryl and Alessa transform into the beast summoned by Dahlia, the witch.   Dr. Kaufmann throws a bottle of drug onto the transforming demon causing the demon and the girl to split.  A gaint winged demon rises and shoots lightning around the room, causing Dahlia to catch on fire.  (Finally someone shut her up for good)   Now you have the demon to deal with, who is surprisingly not that dificult.   If you have about 6-7 health drinks or first aid kits, equip your rifle and shoot away.  Her lightning bolts will not affect you much, and you can heal anytime you want.  On the other hand, if you are low on health supplies, then shoot until it gets ready to shoot the lightning at you and run around in a random pattern to dodge it.   Then stop and shoot, and repeat until it dies.  It takes about 30-40 rounds to kill it with the hunting rifle.  Congratulations you beat the game.  I won't spoil the ending for you, so enjoy the ending....

NOTE:  If you visited all the places I listed in this guide until now, you should've gotten the GOOD+ ending.  Also, if you think you can out this game away, think again.  There are some secrets to get and 3 more endings to go.  Refer to the Secrets section to find out more.
