The Races of Argilla

Argilla is populated by several intelligent, or at least semi-intelligent races.  Here is a brief description of some of them.

Apuku - The little people of the forest.  Best known as the discoverers of Magic.

Dwarves - There short and eat almost any type of flesh.  After all, if you spent several thousand years digging a tunnel to the mainland you would be hungry for meat too.

Elves - Punished by the goddess Ynar for their actions during the First Age.  The elves were the most powerful of the Power Mages.  Their curse makes them cross fertile with almost anything.  Ever meet a Half-Troll?  You don't want to, especially in a dark corner of the pub.

Fpihtet - These are bugs who communicate with each other with sound and smell.  Once ruled most of Argilla until the made the wrong demigod mad.  Thus ended the Second Age.

Giants - They will rarely admit it, but Giants are the true elves.  This branch of the elves are referred to as the Faithful Children of Ynar as they sided with the gods against the power mages.

Goblins - Short and very disliked.  Most often seen in large numbers attacking bigger people.

Hobgoblins - Slightly smaller than humans.  World renowned merchants who are always nude, not that you can see anything.  Non-hobs have a hard time telling the sexes apart.

Humans - Mostly the same everywhere, they just live longer on Argilla.

Kobolds - Short, Pointy Ears, Big Feet, Green.  What more needs to be said.

Ogres - Big, Dumb, and Crude.  Race most likely to try anything with anything.

Orcs - Not the evil ones of most games.  Honor bound and bald.  Think bald Klingon.

Otorrii - Look like humans, except they got four arms.  Commonly psychics.

Squids - Intelligent Squids?  Yes, they have ruled the seas and some lakes of Argilla since the first age.  Their technology is primarily biological in nature.

Trolls - Dumb, Dumb, Dumb, most noted for eating anything.  If trained can make great garbage disposals.
