Cost for gamekit that contains BOTH games (not including P&P) is £8 (UK) (approx. $13)
This is Chris's third 18xx gamekit release. It has been registered with Francis Tresham and is released with his permission. Designed by Peter Jacobi, the collection includes what have been called mini-18xx games. Both use (different) 12 hex maps, have only 3 Corporations and limited number of Private Companies (4) and Trains (11 or 12). Even with these small numbers, the game provides the usual problems for the players and gives the feel of a full 18xx game but all playable in 2 to 3 hours. Primarily for 3 or 4 players, the two games each have their own flavour and show that even with a minimal set it is possible to have a workable mini-18xx game.
The gamekit is a complete home-brewed production, if you have seen Chris's other gamekits (1841/Northern Italy or 1899/China) you will have an idea of what they comprise of. They compare with the commercially available 18xx games in quality and I am sure there are no other 18xx gamekits that approach the price and quality Chris offers.
Each game in the gamekit comprises of:
Full Costs, this INCLUDES postage and packing (£ means UK Pound, approximitely = $1.60)
US - Chris has now made arrangements with me for US orders to go through me. This result is a $4 or $5 saving as there will be no need to include the usual bank commission charges for cashing US cheques in the UK. Please send all US orders to me (and ensure all cheques are made payable to David Reed).
Europe - Eurocheques are the best method to pay as there no extra commission or charges when cashed.
Rest Of The World - Cheques will require a L4 overhead to pay for the UK bank commission to cash a non-UK cheque.
