Commander Gruop Tank-The Rodina

So you decided it was time to come and help defend The Rodina eh??? What was it? The fact that your family has been starving for months now,or was it the daily bombing of your city? Was it that you just wanted to get back at that trecherous Bastard Adolf and his pack of Wolves? Well..NO Matter.. your're in it now-up to your NECK!!!
As a commander you realize that we cannot suffer to be invaded. Every bit of ground you give up will cost even more blood to take back and you will soon see the price of keeping the bastards out of Mother Russia. Remember--The people have entrusted YOU to defend them. Defeat the enemy and you will receive rewards beyond your dreams--FAIL and you may well go to one of the Penal Shock Battalions being formed as we speak!!!!1

T40/T60-- Called "Tankettes"-these were light tanks that were forced into the foray and did fairly well. These tanks(if you can call them that) are very easily damaged by MG and 20mm fire. Armed with 20mm cannons they weighted only 6 tonnes(hint, hint).

BT7-- The forerunner of the T34 series and armed with 45mm cannon these were well matched to the German Pzlll. One must be careful with them however due to a low armor thickness(22mm).

T34--The one that started it all!!Starting with the T34 and ending with the T34/85 these tanks were a rude shock to the Germans.Armed with 75mm to 85mm guns and with armor thickness -f 45mm-90mm,these were truly formidible opponents.

KV Series-- The KV1 armed with a 75mm cannon and the KV2 armed with a 152mm cannon these were commonly refered to as "Dreadnoughts".Kind of like Timex watches-they take a lickin' and keep on tickin'!!Outdated in the end of 1943.

Air Support--Sturmovich's were the backbone here. Use these against armored vehicles and remember to keep your enemy sighted or these units will not engage and you will loose the use of them.Late in the war be careful of anti-aircraft artillery....

Artillery--The Soviet Army belives in the ability of Artillery to loosen or dislodge the enemy. So much so that it was not unheard of to read reports of 500 guns in support of an assault. Use against the Infantry and open vehicles for best results.
