The Bond henchmen/allies
James Bond has had help from many allies. This new section will tell you all about the henchmen/allies.

M
M constantly appears in Bond movies, (in every single one, in fact) and always gives Bond a lecture about not going into personal vendettas with the villians. M gives Bond the mission in every Bond film (except Licence to Kill), and is respected by Bond in every pre-GoldenEye film (except Licence to Kill). M has been played by Bernard Lee, Robert Brown, and now, Judi Drench.
Q
One of the best-loved characters in the Bond series, Q is always around to give Bond his new gadgets and equipment. Q is a good friend and a great field operative, as well, despite his age and tendency to tell Bond to grow up. Q has been played by Desmond Llewelyn for most all of the Bond films.
R
The new successor to Q, the gaget man. R is played by John Cleese, of Monty Python fame, and is constatnly told by Q not to think. Instead, Q suggests, 'just do what I tell you'.
FELIX LEITER
Felix Leiter was replaced by Jack Wade in GoldenEye after being fed to the sharks in Licence to Kill, but Bond has always been able to count on Felix when things look bleak. Leiter is a CIA agent who assists Bond in his missions.
GENERAL GOGOL
Head of the KGB in most of the Bond films, Gogol is usually found wherever M is. He is attempting to make relations a bit more friendly between the two. Only in For Your Eyes Only does Gogol work against Bond.
