What is the Forgotten Realms What is the Purpose of this Page About the Creator

What is the Forgotten Realms?

Forgotten Realms are a medieval fantasy world created by Ed Greenwood and others. Some authors have used this world as a background for their novels. But it did not start as a novel world. It was designed for the Advanced Dungeons and Dragons game, and there are many books written for the sole purpose of explaining areas of this world to Dungeon Masters for use in their games. It has expanded to the point of being the most detailed fantasy world ever created.

What is the purpose of this page?

I created this web page so that other Dungeon Masters(DMs) would have access to the adventures that I have ran in my Forgotten Realms campaign. I have also put other things on it that might appeal to DMs and players alike. Things like time saving tools, quick adventures, and more. On top of that I have put a few things on to entertain (weekly voting,etc.). But don't assume that that is all there is. I will be updating the site regularly with new stuff, so check back often. I invite others to share their information with me. If anyone has files that they would like me to add to the site, just e-mail me and I'll be happy to do so. I will credit the author alone for anything that he submits.

About the Creator

I'm not actually playing or DMing any games now. I haven't for about three monthes. I love to read about FR though. And I'm still writing material, but mostly for this site. I almost like learning about the Realms as much as I do playing in it, so it isn't all bad.
Like I say all over this page, I invite anyone who writes material for the Realms to send me what they have. I want this site to be more of an archive, rather than just me alone working away. I will credit anyone who wants to add anything.
