Curt Hennig

When Curt Hennig arrived at WCW not quite a year ago it was somewhat of a surprise. It had been sevaral years since he had been in the ring. Never the less he was still a top wrestler and was wanted by many groups. You might say he was like a big name free agent. At first it appeared Hennig was bound to join the Horsemen with a major recruiting effort by Ric Flair. In a match where the two were supposed to be on the same side Hennig brutally attacked Flair. He had joined the NWO. Flair was seriously injured and Hennig took credit for ending the Horsemen forever. Hennig has also pulled a similar stunt with the Wolfpac. He said he was a member when he suddenly attacked them. Hennig was often followed to the ring by longtime friend Rick Rude who has managed him. Recently Hennig has been kicked out of the NWO and teamed up with friend Barry Windham in the tag team tournament.
