The Next Summer
After the "incident" Everyone decided they needed to leave town. Freddie went to Hollywood to try out acting, and Justin and Britney went to Orlando to try to start thier singing careers. Melly stayed in New York because she was still in school. Justin and Britney were signed to TransCon. Records by Johnny Wright. Britney was a solo artist while Justin joined a group of 4 other guys. They were all going to be on tour during the summer along with another TransCon group, the Backstreet Boys.
One day while rehearsing, Justin went out on the stage to check the mics. It was dark in the venue and he was the only one in the room. He was standing in the middle of the stage testing out a mic when suddenly a bright strobe light was turned on and was shining in his face blinding him.
Justin:"Yo What da *censored*??"
Voice:"Juuustinnnnnn"
Justin:"Yeahhhh?? Whos there?"
Voice:"Justin Tiiimmmmmberlakkkkeeee..."
Justin:"Chris iz dat you?" (sheilds his eyes with his hand)
Voice:"No Justin, Who I am isnt important."
Justin:"Well..where are you at then?"
Voice:"Thats not important either."
Justin:"OoooK...*shrugs* Nice talkin to ya then..(starts to run out the door when it suddenly slams shut in his face.)"
Voice:"Justin I know..."
Justin:(turning around with a worried look on his face) "Ok who da *censored* is dis? And turn dat *censored* light off!!!"
Voice:"I told you its not important who I am..whats important is what I know."
Justin:(mocking voice) "Ok fine...what do you know??"
Voice:"I know what you did last summer."
Justin"Awww man what is this some stupid tabloid?? Yo for the last time..Im not dating her!"
Voice:"No Justin this isnt about you and Britney..But it does involve her too. And youre other friends."
Justin:(starts to get worried) "W-what do you mean??"
Voice:"I mean..youre friends back in New York..Freddie..and Melly..and What happend last summer."
Justin:"What..w-w-hat do you know about what happened?? Nothing happened...You dont know anything..."
Voice:"Do you know Lou Pearlman?"
Justin:"Yeah he's my manager's boss..but what does that have to do with.."
Voice:"Have you ever meet him?"
Justin:"Well no not in person.."
Voice:"So you didnt know that he's recovered from being hit by a car and drug into the river a year ago?"
Justin stood on the stage in shock as the strobe light turned off and the venue turned dark again. He looked around trying to find who it was then ran backstage to try to find Britney.
Britney's dressing room...
TJ: "Like oh my god girl, that shade of lipstick is so phat."
Britney:*giggle* "Ya think so? I wonder if Justin will like it..(Justin storms into the room) JUStin! Looky at my lipstick! (starts puckering her lips)
Justin:"Britney we're in trouble!"
Britney:"What did you do now?"
Justin stares at TJ wanting him to leave the room, TJ just stands there with a blank expression on his face.
Justin:"Do you mind?"
TJ: "Oh!" (winks at Britney) "You go girl!" (leaves the room)
Britney: (starts kissing Justin) "That was like so cute how you said that we were like in trouble just to like get TJ to leave so that like ya know we could be alone!"
Justin: (pushing Britney away from him and making her fall into her chair.) "*censored* Britney Im not talking about that! Somebody knows!!"
Britney:"About what?"
Justin: "About what happened last summer."
Britney thinks for a minute then it finally hits her
Britney: "Oh ya mean like..When we hit that guy?"
Justin:: (rolls eyes) "Uh..Yeah?"
Britney: "But who could know about it?"
Justin: "I dont know...(suddenly there was a knock at the door and Johnny Wright walked in the room)
Johnny: "Hey you two, we're gonna have a party tonight at my house so that you all can get to know everyone before the big tour. So be there around eight ok?"
Britney & Justin:"Ok Johnny." (Johnny left the room)
Justin: "Somethings not right. I dont know what it is but somethings just not right."
