It's been 2 months since I last updated this page, and in the last 2 months I've done a major upgrade of my PC and become obsessed with all the new power I have and the things I can now do... I will be using a new method of publishing my pages which is not very compatible with all the existing pages, but rather than start from scratch and getting rid of what I've already done the old and the new will exist side by side. (I've put too much time into all these old pages to just remove them and though there are some dead links I think there still maybe some good information).
I will be making a quick sweep of "Midnight's Archives" to try and remove some of the dead links and information so you can still browse through them with relative ease. But after that there will be very little (if any) updating of these old pages. For the most current view of my obsessions with games and graphics enter the New Midnight's Realm: the obsessions continue....

March 1, 1999--
Though the BBS Community seems to be struggling to survive, this site will continue to be primarily focused on BBSing as well as Graphics, Games, associated with them. I also have a number of "psuedo" programs I've created for BBS Games that include the FX Sound System as well as a number of custom modules (the BoB Series) I've made for John Dailey's Dungeon Master.
In addition it is my intent to expand the Realm with information, links, and downloads for a variety of my other interest to include some of the older PC games, such as DOOM, Heretic, and Warcraft, as well as PBEM (Play by E-Mail) games beyond what I consider the best PBEM VGA Planets, and a number of WEB based games such as Earth 2025 and ARCHMAGE (which has recently become one of my newest obsessions).
It will take some time for me to get all the information and pages added to my liking (as well as deal with all the updates to existing information), but as I enter my second year on this site it is my desire to continue to grow and expand into a site offering a variety of diverse interest and information.

January 31, 1999--
Though I didn't make the extreme changes I'd planned to during the Holidays I have made a few
minor changes in the layout of the site in preparation for some changes...
Primairly moving all my comentary or "Ramblings" to a separate page. I'll be expanding games
and graphics to more than just BBS related games and graphics. Including some of the older and original network and PC games that will run on older machines and on the Internet..
But don't forget about the Dungeon Master and The Books of Blood Add-On Modules.

December 13, 1998--
Oh Boy... it's been almost 2 months since I updated the News!
I am planning to update the whole site over the holidays and give it a complete
facelift by my first aniversary on the Web in the meantime...
VGA Planets: Invaders has ended the The Borg is well on it's way and another short Ragnarok game is waiting for players. See the VGAP Host Page to join or just find out more about VGA Planets.
The LEGENDS of the Books of Blood is now finished! (I've done alot of testing and it seems very stable. Though I'm still in the process of doing a little tweaking...) The most upto date version (pending public release) is available from the Books of Blood Page.
It's looking good in the Realm of Kisom (ROK) for a new version that will have alot of my RIP graphics and FX Sound including alot of new Waves. For all the available FX files and add-ons check out the FX System Page.
That's probably all the News for this Year... Happy Holidays!

October 16, 1998-- The two VGAP games are winding down and a New VGA Planets game has been set-up and is waiting for players. "The Borg" based on The Ashes of the Old Empire scenario will have more emphasis on team play or cooperation. For more information go to the VGAP Host Page.
I'm about half way finished with my next Dungeon Master module. "Legends of the Books of Blood" will be the largest and most playable module yet, with over 17 maps and 20 mini-quest. All the BoB series modules and more can be downloaded from the Books of Blood page.
I'm working on updating the BBS and Games pages to reflect alot of the changes that have taken place in the last couple of months, removing the dead links and adding some more useful and current links and resources that are now available.
Another FX System project is also in the works. I've got plans to add sound and new graphics to the door game King's Crown (now FREEWARE).
Have Fun!

September 8, 1998--
I've gotten started on the next great Dungeon Master Module in the
Books of Blood DM Series... Legend of the Book of Blood!
It takes place after the Ancient Evil has been once again Banished into
the Labyrnth and the World is emerging from the Darkness that had engulfed it. Using many of the Best effects and situations from previous episodes
this module promises to be the BEST yet! With over 17 maps and dozens of
"Mini" Quest this module has Much to offer for beginners as well seasoned players.
The First DM Art Pack for DM Module Makers is also available for download. With some of the raw ANSI (for Walls, Items, Monsters, etc.) in template form so they can easily be added to *.DAT files.
The ARMAGEDDON Game has started... These "Short" Battle to the Death Scenarios are Ideal for New Players to learn how to play the game and alot of Fun for Experienced players too. Jump to the VGA Planets Page for information about the Greatest play by E-Mail game ever, or Jump to the VGAP Host Page to join a game and/or download the VGA Planets Player files needed to play.
August 15, 1998-- I've had a buzy summer but it's coming to an end soon. There haven't been alot of changes in the past several weeks but there are a few New things now. The VGA Planets game RAGNAROK has ended and a New Game "ARMAGGEDON" has been set-up and is waiting for players. Jump to the VGA Planets Page for information about the Greatest play by E-Mail game ever, or Jump to the VGAP Host Page to join a game and/or download the VGA Planets Player files needed to play.
I haven't made any new Dungeon Master Modules this summer, but there are two more in the works in the Books of Blood DM Series: Gaunlet of Blood & Legends of Blood will be coming soon as well as some ANSI packs for aspiring Module Makers.
June 6, 1998-- I've been working alot recently on Dungeon Master Modules. There are now 2 NEW Modules and I've also put together an Archive of the Images, Monsters, Spells, Items, Sounds and Walls I used in the BoB Series as well as the *.Maps from Arena of Blood! to help potential module makers make thier own DM modules and get a FREE Dungeon Master Registration. Check out the Dungeon Master Page for details, programs, and links to DM and John Dailey Software. For all the Books of Blood Modules, Help Files and More jump to my Books of Blood Page.
May 7, 1998-- Although there's been quite a few New things added I haven't updated this What's New Message... I hope I don't miss anything.
I've just finished and ALL NEW Dungeon Master Module!
This one is a drastic change from any other previously released module
and is a Disgustingly FUNNY Spoof of the Original Sample module. I call it
"The MISS Adventures of BoB the Slob!" A small fast paced module packed
with surprises and special events that you've come to expect from my mods.
Destined to become a DM Classic! Get it from the
Books of Blood Page
I've made an ALL NEW FX Add-On for Mike Snyder's LuNaTiX that includes 16 All New RIP Screens and also adds FX Sound but it's a great add-on for RIP users even if they don't have sound and only takes a few seconds to install. AND it's FREE! Get it from the FX System Page.
I've been added to the VGAP Host RING and 2 games have started that can be joined from the VGAP Host Page. And played via e-mail.
I've also added an excellent link to the most comprehensive IBBS Leagues on the Internet from the Online Games Page.
Have Fun!

April 10, 1998-- I had a few favorable comments about the sound on the BoB Cluebook pages, so I decided to add more sound to more pages. I've tried to keep most of them very small and put a small on-off console so you aren't forced to listen. I've added a few new pages a Site History page (to keep this one trimmed down a bit), a VGA Planets Page (with information, strategy guides, files and links), and a VGAP Host page where games I'm hosting on the BBS can be joined and played via e-mail. (I hope to have the VGAP pages developed enough this weekend so the games can start right away.)
Have Fun!

March 29, 1998-- Oh Boy! There have been Lots of additions since my
last "News" entry.
First off I've finished a New FX System Add-On for Mike Snyder's LUNATIX! With 16 NEW RIPped Rooms and FX Sound!
I've made some major developments of the BBS Page which
has lots of information and links for both System Operators and Users. I've
also done some major develoment of the Graphics Page with links and files
for ANSI, RIP, and MAX... and will be adding links and information for an
ALL NEW Online Graphics called F\X DDO. My pages here attracted their
attention and I was fortunate enough to have had them upload all their
programs directly to my BBS. I've been buzy setting their games up on
Midnight's Realm BBS and testing them and they Look REALLY Impressive and
the Tech Support I've seen so far is EXCELLENT!
I've also gotten a good start on the Games Page which (due to my Obsessiveness) is almost turning into a "Mini" History of Online Games though only hitting some of the High Points and far from being complete. It
also has a few links to Java games that can be played on the WWW.
I've also decided to add 2 New Pages for VGA Planets. One with information and links as well as a list of the extras for players and host.
The other page will be for Games I Host in the Realm. Players will be able
to join a game and play right from the VGAP HOST page.
I'm also thinking about making a "Site History" Page for all the Old News
just as a "House Keeping" proceedure for this page and so I can look back
at it in a few months (or years) to see just how things have developed.
Thanks for hitting this page (and taking the time to read this far)... I
hope you'll find something in the Realm you can use or enjoy...
Have Fun!

March 9, 1998-- I've finished the final Cluebook for BoB I and added some "mood" music to the Cluebooks. There is now a General Message Board available for any Questions or Comments. I've also done some work on the BBS page adding a BBS list and some links for Sysops.
February 27, 1998-- I've built up the Dungeon Master, Books of Blood, and FX System Pages with "Notes" links on each page that jumps to my Commentary or "Ramblings" about the themes of the page as well as Page Indexs. I've also added my Psudeo Programs for download as well as added links to download other files. I've also started building the Files Page as a single page for all downloads.
February 20, 1998-- True to My "Obsessive" nature in but a few days I've established a basic layout for the site and created 9 Main Pages from which to build it. I've created banners for the various link exchanges which will be added to bottom of the related page.
The BoB Cluebooks can now be accessed from the Home Page with the Duneon Master and Books of Blood Pages the next to be developed (Since they are my most recent Obsession besides this site). Each page will have it's related files and links which will be collected and added to the Individual Files and Links Pages as the Realm develops.
