SILENT HILL: THE SCHOOL: PART 1

Directions to school:

After you enter through the door with the 3 locks, go straight, through the fence door, and make a left onto the allyway.  Turn the lights off and hug your blankets folks, cause this is where the scary part of the game begins, in TOTAL DARKNESS.  Make a right onto Matheson St, and an immediate left onto Midwich St and stay on the right sidewalk.  Run all the way until you find a narrow passage, which is the entrance to the school, and enter the school.

1st Floor

  1. School Map
  2. Med-Kit
  3. Health drink
  4. Handgun bullets *2

As soon as you enter, locate the US map on one of the walls, and pick up the (1) school map located on a bench under the US map.  Go through the double doors and and make an immediate right into the Infirmary.  Pick up the (2) Med-kit and the (3) Health drink and save your game.  Exit the infirmary, make a left and exit through the double doors to the right (the door opposite to the entrance).  Now you should be in the Courtyard, turn right and head towards the Clock Tower, and notice the time its frozen at, 10:00.  Go back through the double doors and make a right into the Reception, and read the papars that are in the located in pools of blood.  The one we're concerned with right now is the paper marked

Sounds like a puzzle to me.  Alchemy lab sounds like some sort of loboratory in the school.  Look at your map to realize that no such thing exists on the 1st floor, so lets try the second floor.  NOTE: I strongly recommend that you explore the rest of the 1st floor for items, which I have listed below.  However, if you are in a hurry, then skip to the "2nd floor".  But here are the items that you can find in the remaining areas of the 1st floor.  Go throught the door near the reception desk (on the ame side) and pick up the (4) handgun bullets on the table.   Finally, in the room between the Storage and the Hall, pick up another (4) handgun bullets.

2nd Floor

  1. Chemical
  2. Gold Medallion
  3. First-aid Kit
  4. Handgun bullets *2
  5. Health Drink

Travel the entire length of the courtyard and enter through the double doors there, make a left and go through the door, make a right and go up the stairs to the 2nd floor.  Make a left at the 1st double doors and an immediate left inot the Lab Equipment Room.  Pick up the (1) Chemical and exit.  Make a left into the Chemistry Laboratory (Alchemy Lab???) and inspect the old man's hand.  Like the puzzle says pour some of that delicious chemical on his hand, and watch it eat throught his hand.  Pick up the (2) Gold Medallion and leave the room.  Now, you have to leave for the courtyard, but before you do pick up some items on the second floor.   Go to the Library and get the (3) First-aid Kit.  In the classroom located on the lower right, pick up the (4) handgun bullets.  In the left most hallway, where the bathrooms are located, go to the top classroom, pick up a (5) health drink.  The bottom bathroom contains another (4) Handgun bullets.  Go back to the clock tower and insert the gold medallion into the left hole.  Notice that the clock changes its position to 12:00.  Go back to the 1st floor Reception area and read the book that on the right counter. (it should say 12:00 on it)

Read the puzzle at the reception area,

Go to the second floor and make your way to the music room and look at the puzzle on the chalkboard.  This clue is also written in blood (do i notice a fetish with blood here?)

"A tale of birds without a voice"

First flew the greedy Pelican,
Eager for the reward
white wings flailing.

Then came the silent Dove,
flying beyond the Pelican,
as far as he could.

A Raven flies in,
flying higher than the Dove,
just to show that he can.

A Swan glides in,
to find a peaceful spot,
next to another bird.

Finally out comes a Crow,
coming quickly to a stop,
yawning and then napping

Who will show the way,
Who will be the key,
Who will lead to the Silver Reward.

Confused??? Never fear, thats why I'm here.  Go to the nearby Piano and examine it, and you'll have an opportunity to press the keys, and thats where this clue comes in.  Press the keys in the following order: (all of the keyss in the order are music less, and produce clicks when you press them.

Pick up the Silver Medallion that falls from the clock and head back to the Clock Tower.  Place it in the right hole and note that the clock is stopped at 5:00.  Head back to the reception and check out the farthest book, on the left counter (the one that says 5:00 on it)

    1. Handgun bullets

The book should have a puzzle that goes something like this:

"Darkness that brings the choking heat"

Flames render the silence,
awakening the hungry beast.
Open time's door to beckon the prey.

That door must be the door at the bottom of the Clock Tower.  Go to the second floor, enter the Music room hallway and exit through the door at the end of the hallway.  Side Note:  Although you don't have to, you can pick up (1) handgun bullets in the top right classroom.  Make a right at the end of the hallway and go down the stairs into the basement.  Go to the Boiler room and press the Red Switch in the boiler room.  Now would be a good time to save your game.  Head back to the Clock tower, and through the door at the bottom of it.  Follow the path to find yourself in...where the heck are you??

Click to go on to the ALTERNATE SCHOOL,where you start feeling sorry that you came to this town in the first place!!
