The Origin Story (Note: Many of these are unknown)
Filming locations for the Origin Story are complicated by the fact that a never-screened pilot episode was filmed some months before the Origin Story proper. Footage shot for this pilot was filmed on location in Florida, and supplemented by filming meant to represent the same places, but located in the UK.
- The Island - Some scenes were certainly shot in Florida. Others were set on a nudist's beech in Dorset (according to a Kristian Schmid interview). There are actually 8 naturist beaches in Devon! The Island was meant to be in the South Pacific (according to Megabyte in 'The Culex Experiment'.)
- Piccadily Circus, London Routemaster Buses and Bus Depot.
- Twickenham in South West London - Kevin's home town.
- Megabyte's House (The Ridge?), presumably intended to be in the same area as Kevin's home (Twickenham)
- Lisa's School in Clearwater, Virginia - different buildings in the pilot and series. The US filming was almost certainly in Florida rather than Virginia.
- Lisa's Apartment (number 376) - again, two distinct buildings were used for filming and appear in the Origin Story, presumably one in Florida and one in the UK.
- Heathrow Airport - but scenes were filmed in parts of London Victoria station, which serves Gatwick Airport (there is a Delta airlines desk)
- Orlando, Florida filming location for Lisa's home in 'Clearwater, Virginia'.
- Lady Mulvaney's home - Heywood Manor
- Houses of Parliament
- Hard Rock Cafe, London
- Regals Night Club in Uxbridge, West London
- Galt's laboratory
- Hillside rendezvous with Lady Mulvaney - maybe on the Dorset coastline? Vegetation (ferns, heathers and evergreen shrubs) and landscape looks about right but see note about helicopter above.
