I absolutely love Asia. I learned so much here. About the culture, the people, the language and myself. My residence was in Kuching, Malaysia on the island of Borneo. Kuching is the capital of the State of Sarawak. Brunei is also on the island of Borneo, between the southwest state of Sarawak and the northeast state of Sabah. The other half of Borneo is Indonesia. And mainland Malaysia includes the city of Kuala Lumpur.

Now that the geography lesson is complete . . . I hope the descriptions in the following pages do the area justice. And I haven’t even been to half the countries that I had planned. I still have Vietnam, India, and Japan, to mention a few.
