Membership
AISI Toastmasters Club 8233
Membership in AISI Toastmasters is open to employees of Allyn International Services and TMS. All members must pay membership dues. Each new member must complete a membership form, available from any club officer, and obtain the signature of a sponsoring member. The membership application should be submitted to the club Secretary when completed. Existing members must vote each new member in before the application can be formalized. Formal initiation ceremonies are held from time to time; however, a new member does not have to have been formally initiated to enjoy official member status. Upon completion of the membership form and payment of dues, a person officially becomes a member.
To remain a club in good standing, a club must have at least twenty members. To enable the club to prosper, all members should keep their eyes open for friends, co-workers, and acquaintances that might be interested in improving their speaking skills through Toastmasters.
Allen Trevett and Julie Willard pay an initial, one-time fee of $16.00 to Toastmasters International's World Headquarters to cover the costs of educational materials you will receive. This fee will never have to be paid again even if you transfer your membership to another club or if there is a break in your membership.
Each Toastmaster receives a monthly magazine dealing with current issues affecting the organization, professional development, and feedback/crossfeed of information for better club management and administration.
Monthly dues for Toastmasters International are $3.00. Club dues for the AISI Toastmasters Club are an addition $1.00 each month. These dues and fees must be paid upon application for club membership. The following table reflects the required payments depending on the month your membership is approved:

Semi-annual dues of $24.00 will be collected during March and September for next 6-month period for a member to remain in good standing in the club. The AISI Toastmasters Club collects dues for operation and maintenance of the club events and activities.
If you are interested in helping members who may have a tight budget, AISI also collects a donation of $1.00 per membership that goes into a treasurer's box to assist employees in joining the club.
