Some of them (I think most of them ^^;;) aren't really "secrets" nor "tricks", but I dunno where to classify them. Please tell dolies (me) if you know more secrets or any correction. Thanks!

1) Strange music clips?
At the menu page, if you press "continue" and leave it standing for awhile, suddenly some hauntingly beautiful music will start playing for few seconds...very freaky...

2) You can buy the CDs at Giga Macho and listened to them at Maya's apartment. Here're the titles:

In order to get the secret CD #20, go to the 2F of Factory after finished all the Zodiac signs palaces. Talk to the cop who was standing there and spread the rumor at Detective office.

3) The Cat in Detective Office:
Donate 10000 yen, it'll give you a incense set. Mew~Mew~Mew~~

4) Bobby-kun in Police office:
Donate 10000 yen it'll give you 2 incense set. However you must do so before the place get burn down.

5) Fortune-telling Gypsy:
Let her tell your fortune and the results will last for the next 20 minutes or so (right?)

Extend "The Reason" effect?
If you get "The Reason", save your game often. Before the effect disappear (it'll last about 20 minutes), save and load the game. The x2 experience points effect will continue. Keep repeating and you'd have your entire game with x2 experience points!! (I've tried beating Alice for 6+ more times in a row with this effect and gain 10 levels in one hour.)

6) Magic Combo Display?
If all the member wear the accessories "Solving Orb"the magic combo analyze will all display for you (Even the ones you haven't found out yet).

7) Casino trick:
Spread the rumor of "Slot machine is easy to win". Use the #1 slot machine and insert 8 coins at a time (press triangle button). Hit the triangle button very fast stimuiously. You'd usually end up with all cherries in all the blocks or 777 or 3xBar. I think you can only do this once a day (coz when I go back to do it, it won't work anymore).

8) Items Increase Infinity?
There's an item-increasing trick that I never get it to work, I hope someone can teach me how to do it exactly! Thanks in advance

9) Nemesis??
Notice the names of the 4 Heavenly Kings and Ms.Iteal, they seems to have similarities with the corresponding main characters.
Suoe Tatsuya (Leo) & Sutou Tatsuya (King Leo)
Both named Tatsuya but different ways of writing.
Lisa Silverman's nickname "Ginko" (Taurus) & <---> Sasaki Ginji (Prince Taurus)
Both have the word "Gin" (means silver)
Eikichi (Scorpio) & Yoshizaka Anna (Lady Scorpio)
Yoshizaka is exact same kanji as "Eikichi" but reverse the order.
Korosu Jun (Aquarius) & Korosu Junko (Queen Aquarius)
Self-explainatory.
Okamura Maya & Amano Maya
Both named "Maya" but different writings.

10) Factory's secret rooms (find Nanjo and Reiji!):
Secret Employee's room:
- After go to Siverber, return to land by using the terminal at B5.
- Go to factory and now door#6 at 1F (which was locked before) is now open.
- Read ALL the journal entries, including the one on the green control board
of room#6 and got the "secret 2F employee room" rumor.
- Asked the demons in battles for information using the contact/contract method.
- After obtain the "Employee room's electricity board is the secret passage" rumor, asked the contracted demons to spread the rumor.
- Go to 2F Employee room and check the electricity board, it should now "openable".
-You will find Nanjo there and he'll give you the Legendary Japanese Sword (Tatsuya's Strongest Weapon).
- Nanjo was my fav. chara from P1 (in Japanese version, he has a very cool deep voice!)

Dumped Waste Management Room:
- Read the diaries at the 2F Secret Employee's room, it tells you one of the floor block in 1F is very weak.
- Check the floor downstair around the entrace door and the diaries dying on ground, the floor will then collapsed and you'd fell down.
- Read the entries there.
- Go back up (and don't forget to beat Alice from the locker) and make contracts with demons to ask for "Dumped Waste Management Room".
- When finally obtain the rumor spread it!
- You can now open the locked door in Room#6. You can find Reiji in a little room up north. He'll give you the "Legendary Gloves" (Lisa's strongest weapon).
- Reiji is my other fav. chara from P1 (along with Nanjo and Ayase), thanks a lot to Altus for giving me so much trouble finding them! (took me quite a long time to figure this out!)

11) Legendary Weapons:
Legendary Sword for Tatsuya:
--Obtain from Nanjo (see above)
--You can keep asking info from demons until they tell you rumor about upgrade of the sword. You can have various magic embeded in it...but the strongest one is "Levitian", attack power 160!! (get the rumor of "true power"!)

Legendary Glove for Lisa:
--Obtain from Reiji (see above)
--same as sword, asked info until you get the strongest "Shinsanbauken", power 160.

Legendary Guitar Case for Michelle:
--After finish Karacol event.
--Obtain rumor from demons regarding "legendary guitar case selling at ramen place"
--Talk to the spy lady at Ramen place.
--Spread rumor from Detective Office.
--Go back to Ramen place and choose "Ganbare" when Eikichi asked you to eat for him.
--You can now buy it for 50000 yen.

Legendary Handgun for Maya:
--After finish Karacol event.
--obtain rumor from demons
--Go to the French restaurant and talk to the owner.
--Spread rumor from Detective Office
--Go back to the restaurant and make Maya eat the "Kusayasu Spagetti".
--You can now buy it for 50000 yen.

Legendary Flower for Jun:
--After obtaining the Legendary Guitar and Handgun, go to Araya Temple and talk to a kid who hide at the back (rotate your camera angle to see him!).
--Go to Park and read the message board.
--Go to Time City and talk to the Count.
--Go around ALL the rumor places (Peace Dinner Chikari, Sushi's fat guy, Orange iMac at Internet Cafe, Homeless guy in Park, fortune-teller) and collect rumors.


It's pretty self-explanatory which one to choose unless you want some adventures or too much $ to waste...^^;;

12) Lottery?
After you obtain the rumor "Reward Magazine can used as lottery tickets", go spread rumors and now you can buy as much Reward Magazines as you want from Drug Store, talk to Tamaki-chan at Detective Office and she'd sent the entries for you. After you spend some time at battles and dungeons, go to Lisa's house and talk to her father. He'll tell you whether you win something. (I never won anything, not even once~) return to top

13) Fool cards?
You can obtain Fool cards from any demons on one condition---during contact, the demons will ask you questions, you need to extend the questions and answer to at least 4 rounds continuously, making them angry 2 times (blue) and interest 2 times (yellow). Of course you MUST get their interest (yellow) by the last round, then it'll give you Fool cards. I think this is the way to get them, because I never succeed in doing so (never get pass 4 rounds). So please can someone confirm for me? return to top

14) Rare Personas?
Once you reach higher levels (Level 70 and above), you'll start seeing new Persona appear on the Velvet Room summon list. Also if you obtained the "Material Cards", you'd see new avaiable Personas that can be summon using the card. That includes "Judgement"'s Micheal, Satan, "Devils"'s Lucifer, Fortune's "Skuld", etc. Also while using your Persona in battles (usually using magic combo), your Persona might raise 2 ranks at a time. Once it reach rank 8, it can "morph" into an entire new Persona with new Tarot card classes. Please see the "Persona" list for details!

15) Persona talks?
Certain Persona will randomly held conversation with certain enemy demons during battles. Sometimes the team member will go Berserk, sometimes the demons will award you with items. You can increase the chances of conversation happening when your HP is low. Here's the list of talking Personas (Your Persona vs Enemy demons):

16) Cross-over?
In 'Devil Summoner" (another game of the Megaten series), you met a woman named in the game called "Ginko", who has long blonde hair in pony tails and blue eyes. Could she be Lisa's future?

The Temple up at Mt. Katatsumuri has same name as one of Altus game.

17) Tatsuya's Ligher
The silver thing that Tatsuya constantly took out from his pocket and flicking was a ligher, given by Jun as a gift when they were little. The words carved on the top saids,
"Being the most important can't be seen in the eyes"

18) Battle Formular
Ever wonder how the statistic works in Persona 2's battle system? Here're some formulars (works for both Innocent Sin and Eternal Punishment).

For Demons and Personas:
Attack = (STR + LV) x 2
Defense = (VIT + LV) x 2
Magic Att. = (TEC x 2) + {LV x 4/5)
Magic Def. = (TEC x 2.5) + (VIT/2)

For Humans:
Attack = STR x 2
Defense = VIT x 2
Magic Att. = (TEC x 2) + {LV x 4/5)
Magic Def. = (TEC x 2.5) + (VIT/2)

For Humans and Persona:
Attack = STR x 2 + Weapon Att.
Defense = VIT x 2 + Armor Def.
Magic Att. = (TEC x 2) + {Human & Persona's Average LV x 4/5) + Accessory
Magic Def. = (TEC x 2.5) + (VIT/2) + Accessory
