Counters are there for you to keep track of your visitors, they are quite useful they can tell you how sucky (:( or GOOD >:) your web pages are! SO if you can't create one of your own using CGI script, because you don't know how to or don't have the resource, (like free web server space) to create those cgi-bins then use the ones they got out there, they are so automated you'd cry! Because it is TOOOOO easy! Here we go!

GeoCities's Counter!
To those of you who are lucky enough to get a Geocities account you an use the counter provided by Geocities to count all your visitors for you.
All you have to do it insert this tag <img src="/cgi-bin/counter/#">, you gotta replace the # with any number you like, preferrably in an organised fashion and go to your counter manager located at http://www.oocities.org/members/tools/counter.html and activate it, you can also rig your counter to display some phantom visitor counts. HEHE!

WebTracker - FXWeb Counter!
Good stuff about FXWeb's WebTracker is that is doesn't require you to advertise ANYTHING, so you can still put this small cute counter on your home page without much intrusion.
The stats they generate is not much to shout about, but at least it does give you a breakdown on your audience, the browser they use and the operating systems of their computers.
You get the following:
Average hits per day + respective hours;
Percentage of people using what broswers
Total hits by individual domains
Return Visits,

Page Count's Home Page!

PageCount's Counter!
Bad stuff: IT IS HUUUUUUGGGGGEEEE!!! The image map takes about 472 by 94 pixels of space and has a real nice advertisement as well. But do not fear they have quite a reliable and fast server so, this doesn't affect the speed at which your page loads by much, but it is really an eye sore! It is huge!
The stats you get in turn for the advertisement however is GREAT & AMAZING, I think that PageCount offers the best stats any counter can give. Check these out:
Average hits per day + respective hours + weekly breakdowns;
Total hits and Percentages of people using what broswers
Total hits by individual domains;
Total hits by countries, total hits by USA domains..
Total Return Visits,
Last 100 visitors' IP (internet protocol) addresses
User friendly stats.
