Normal Cheats |
| Mew |
First put a Water Pokémon at the top of your list. Next press Start and goto the items list and press Select on the 13th item only once. Then go get in a fight. Select Pokémon and select the Pokémon you want to change into Mew. Then press B to go back to the normal fighting menu and select Run Away. That Pokémon will now be Mew. |
| Level 100 |
Press Start and goto the items menu and press Select once on the 7th item. Go into a Pokémon starting with the Pokémon to advance to level 100. Select Attack and press Start on the bottom ability. This ability will be lost when you enter the code. Then beat the enemy and the Pokémon will be at level 100. |
| Copy Pokémon |
You must be carying 6 Pokémon, and one will be copied and one will be erased. Put the Pokémon you will copy at the bottom and copy the rest to an empty PC box. Then take back 4 of them including the one you will erase. Place the Pokémon to be erased at the bottom. Press Start and press Select on the 6th item on the item list. Take it to the Pokémon Trading Post and trade in your old Pokémon for the one you copied. |
| Copy Item |
First make sure you have at least 15 items, and the item to increase should be second on the list and the bike on the bottom. Press Start on the 14th item in your item list. Then get in a battle with a Pidgey or a Rattata. You should have a Pidgey in your group. Go to Pokémon and choose Pidgey. Then run away. Then exchange the bike and the 2nd item. Then you may repeat the part from where you press Select on the item. |
| Random Abilty |
First place the Pokémon you want to give a random ability at the top of the list. Go into battle and while you're there change the order of the abilities so that the one you want to replace is on the bottom. Then run away. Press Start and view your items list, and press Select on the 8th item. Then go into battle, and press Select on the bottom ability. The name of the ability may change, but you may get a different one. Then defeat the Pokémon. |
| Battle unique Pokémon at Seafoam Island |
First, go into any dungeon, building, or anywhere with unique Pokémon (like the safari zone, Pokémon Tower, or rock tunnel), then immediatly walk out. Fly to Fuschia City, and surf down routes 19 & 20 until you reach the Seafoam Islands. DO NOT GO ONTO LAND! Instead, surf up and down the coast (where it looks like your Pokémon is half on land, half on water, and after a few seconds, the area you went into earlier's unique Pokémon will start appearing! If you did it with the Safari Zone, you'll be able to use your own Pokémon to battle them and items! |
| Missingno |
WARNING! Before doing this code, be warned! It can, and probably will mess up your game. It messes up the Pokémon League's site and makes your picture look weird... Anyway...
Fly to Cinnibar Island and trade with someone in the Pokémon Lab. Then, go to the rightmost part of the island and surf up and down the coastline, where it looks like your Pokémon is half on land, half on water, and you will encounter a wild Pokémon, a garbled square shaped thing named Missingno. Send out your weakest Pokémon, and weaken it with a medium powered attack, then save and turn your game off. Now you can use Missingno! Yay. |
| Pokémon duplication |
You need:2 Pokémon game paks, a link cable, and 2 Game Boys.
As an example, I'll call one game blue, and the other red. First, put a Pokémon you don't mind losing on one game. I'll use red as an example. Then put the Pokémon you want duplicated on the blue game. Trade the Pokémon you don't mind losing (red) with the Pokémon you want duplicated (blue).Then turn the blue game off, right after the "Waiting..." sign and right before it says "trade completed". Remember to leave the red game on the entire time. Now, turn the blue game on, and you'll still have the Pokémon you traded to the red game, and the red game will have it too! Enjoy! NOTE: I've heard from some people that this code messes up you game, or erases it, but I've done it many times without any trouble. |
