INGREDIENTS:
DIRECTIONS:
Take two pots. Boil water in one for the Ramen noodles. In the other one, fry some bacon.
When the bacon is done, put them aside, and use some of the fat to stir fry the veggie
. By this time, the water in the other pot should be boiling.
Dump the ramen in the boiling water. When the veggies are done, set them aside
with the bacon. Add water to the pot that you fried the veggies with to make soup.
Add hondashi to the soup base. You can also add sliced fishcakes or what ever
else you want. Let the soup base come to a simmer. When the ramen are done,
strain them into a large bowl, then lay the bacon and veggies on top of the ramen,
then pour the soup base on top of everything else.
DIRECTIONS:
Cut up the chicken into little bites. Brown the chicken (or whatever meat you used). Meanwhile,
make the soup as per the package directions, but do not remove from heat. When the soup is
done, add the meat, vegetables, and soy sauce. Bring the soup up to a boil and add the egg -
do not break the egg yolk, it should be whole. Boil the soup until the egg is done, 8-15 minutes.
DIRECTIONS:
Welcome to the famous Cat Cafe, also known as Nekohanten in
japanese. You are greeted by a very cute Shampoo with
a "Nihoa, welcome to Nekohanten!" as you enter the restaurant.
About Cat Cafe
The Cat Cafe (Nekohanten), a Ramen shop, was opened upon
Shampoo's return to Japan from China. The shop is owned
and run by Shampoo's great grandma,
Cologne.
Shampoo waitresses there and does the deliveries, while
Mousse does all the dirty work like washing up and cleaning, etc.
As you walk in, the smell
of top Ramen noodles and soup fills your nose.
While in the background Mousse is asking Shampoo for a
date over and over again. Be careful though, don't even try to
talk to Mousse without his glasses, he might think you are
Shampoo!
A Bit about the Main Dish
The main dishes produced by the Cat Cafe are of course Ramen.
Ramen originated in China. The japanese word "ramen" comes
from the Chinese words
"la mien"
for stretched noodles.
