Short Summary
The story starts off with a mysterious girl named Sheeta, who floats from the sky lands on the earth. A boy named Pazu finds her. The pirates and the government army are pursuing Sheeta because of the mysterious pendant she is wearing. Pazu and Sheeta then start their adventure of looking for the Sky Castle: Laputa.


Review and thoughts
This is one of the most popular movies created by Miyazaki. I think Sheeta is probably the coolest looking character ever created by Miyazaki. I don't think I need to say anything more, Laputa is just one of those nearly perfect and typical pieces of Japanese anime artwork. And Laputa is also one of those anime you won't get tired of watching. You could watch it ten or twenty times and still be hooked. I don't know why all the Miyazaki movie series always have really really cool and good theme songs. Laputa's songs are just unbelievably good. Anyways, if you have never watched this movie.... well, you know what to do.
