Ramiel is the third Angel comes to challenge Humanity. Like Shamshel, Ramiel also can float in the sky. Ramiel's doesn't like a living thing and it behavior much like a machine. Ramiel is very huge, semi transparent and shape like two pyramid with base stick together. Ramiel describe as a flying fortress by Misato because his strong A.T.Field can prevent any attack from his enemy and his powerful particles accelerator cannon can 100% destroy his target.

In Episode 6, we find that both the attacking power and defending power are the strongest among Angels because he can generate energy quickly inside his body. His A.T.Field is very visible, active and strong enough to prevent the attack from Evangelions. His Particles accelerator cannon can melt down SSTO Shield within 17 seconds. The weak point of Ramiel is in the energy generator inside his body. Ramiel was destroyed by the 180 GigaWatts Special Positron Rifle.
