Akagi Naoko is the most important developer of the new generation computer -- Super Computer Magi. She is Ritsuko's mother. She knew Fuyutsuki, Gendou and Yui while studying in University of Kyoto. She fell in love with Gendou a long time ago and she was jealous of Yui. She is believed that she was related to the accident of Yui Ikari in the activation experiment of EVA-01. After Yui's death, she became the mistress of Gendou. A few years after the Magi System is completed, she found that Gendou loves her because he want to using her to complete the Magi System. After that, she committed suicide in front of her Magi because of killing Rei-1.
