| Bardock was Goku's father. He's pretty much a photocopy of our hero. Bardock was not only a blood-thirsty warrior, but also a cunning researcher. He developed a special techinique that enabled the Saiyajin warrioirs to become Oozaru whenever they wanted by creating a compact ball of energy that produced a special kindo of light that started the transformation. While conquering the planet Kanassa, he was cursed by an alien to have visions of the future, namely how his race would end.. In his visions, he sees Freeza destroying the entire planet Vejita. He runs back to warn his peers after finding his men slayed in planet Mid by Dodoria's men, but nodoby believes him. On his way back home, he sees his son's pod flying away to some planet. he prepares to fight Freeza himself, and even though he was really strong, he couldn't even get close to Freeza. He got caught in the way of Freeza's Death Ball and dies with his planet, but right before he has one last vision. A Vision of a little saiyajin warrioir much like him that grows up to be incredibly strong and that someday would kill Freeza... and dies a happy man. | Bardock |
| Oolong | This little piggy didn't go to the market, he went to a village to kidnap little girls. Oolong started out as one of Goku's enemies, but quickly ecame his ally. In order to get another Dragon Ball, Goku and Bulma had to free all the girls he had taken away from the village. Oolong transforms in all sorts of horrible monstars, but is scared of Goku's power and runs away. He's eventually captured and Goku and Bulma retain him, so he soon joins them in their quest. |
| This obnoxious little cat-like creature is Yamcha's pet. just like Oolong, he can turn into whatever he wants to. He never does anything really important other than turning into scissors to cut off Goku's tail at Pilaf's Castle when he went Oozaru and crying out "Yamcha!" every second. | Pualu |
| Turtle | The Turlte (who's got a name, Unigame) is probably the most important character in this list. Thanx to him, Goku and Bulma find Master Roshi for teh first time. In the first episodes, when Goku and Bulma were looking for the Dragon Balls, Goku goes out one morning to work out a little and mistakes the Turtle for a rock and tries to crush him. The Turtle tells then he's been lost for years and aks them to get him to the ocean. They do, and in return, the Turtle brings Master Roshi to them to give them a prize. Master Roshi gives Goku the Flying Nimbus and Bulma the 3 star Dragon Ball. The Turtle can also fight. U should see that episode, it's one of the best. Master Roshi throws a birthday party for the Turtle and before the guests arrive some guys try to bully Krilin's girlfriend, Maron, and the Turtle kicks their butts... |
| Shen Long's one of the series' most important characters, even though he appears only a few times. I wasn't sure where to put him in the characters list, but I decided to include him in the ugly section coz he never fights or adds any thinckening ingredients to the plot. Even so, this whole sries started because of his existance. | |||

| Now they can grant 2 wishes and grant the same wish over and over; wich is really helpful, since everybody keeps dying every other minute. After the wish is granted, the Dragon Balls turn into stone and scatter throughout the planet. |
