Poronga |
Poronga's the Nameck version of Shen Long, the Sacred Dragon. He was created by the Eldest Nameck, Saichoryo. Not only is his appeareance different from the Sacred Dragon we know, but also his powers. Poronga can grant 3 wishes at a time, not just one like the first Shen Long; and he can grant the same wish over and over to the same person. The problem is he can't bring back more than one person at a time from the dead, and he brings them back in the exact place they died unless their soul is transported to the desired place, wich consumes another wish. Even though Poronga speaks english, wishes have to be made in Namecku. When all 3 wishes are granted, the Nameck Dragon Balls also turn into stone and scatter throughout the planet, but only for 140 days, wich is the duration of the Nameck year. |
| When Goku dies at Cell's hand there's no way of bringing him back to life, since he had been revived by Shen Long once and no one knew where New Nameck-sei was to use their Dragon Balls. The only one that could get there was Goku himself using his Shunkanido (Teleport) amplified by King Kai's telepathic powers and asking Ooranai Baba for a day of life, but No one came up with that idea. While in the Afterworld Goku meets the 3 other Kaioshins, each even more stupid than the previous. The South Kaioshin was a fat nagging old lady feared among her students for her little patience. She raced Goku on her motorcycle to make him earn his admittance into the Afterworld Martial Arts Tournament and tied him, but Dai Kaioshin took the medal to himself coz he beat'em both. | South Kaioshin |

| West Kaioshin is King Kai's worst enemy and Pai-ku-han's trainer; the only warrior in the Afterworld that could stand up to Goku. When organizing the Afterworld Tournament, King Kai bets his tiny little planet to West Kaio that Goku could beat Pai-ku-han. He did, but the fight was voided by Dai Kaioshin because both Goku and Pai-ku-han touched the ceiling of the stadium while they were fighting and that counted like a ring out. | West Kaioshin |
Shapner and Iresa |
Shapner and Iresa are Videl's classmates. They're not really relevant. Shapner's the tall blonde guy in the back. He's Orange Star High's sports star, and his ego makes him one annoying son of a gun. Iresa's the blonde bimbo standing next to him. She fell hopelessy in love with Gohan since the first day at school, wich makes Videl jealous all the time. All they ever do is find out Gohan's the Great Saiyanman and cover up his ass whenever he's out fighting crime. |
