Ater
loosing the fight against his dead Grandfather, Goku decides to
take 3 years to train on his own for the next Tournament. It's
during these 3 years when Goku meets Chaoz and Tenshinhan for the
first time.

This ridiculous monster
pig, with anklers and little wings was Tenshinhan and
Chaoz's pet. They used him to terrorize villages and then
charge the villagers to "kill him". Goku blew
their cover and Inoshkacho eventually stayed to live in
one of the villages. |
| Goku saved this little
green fox from some crooks on his way to the 22nd
Tournament. In return, Konkichi offered his help to get
Goku on a plane to the Island. He stole some plane
tickets at the airport but got caught, and Goku left him
working with Ooranai Baba when they ran into her on the
street. |

The moment of truth
had come: This tournament was a lot tougher than the previous and
less crowded. After Chaoz fixed the draw, the fights were: Yamcha
vs Tenshinhan; Wolfman vs Jackie Chun; Chaoz vs Krilin and Panput
vs Goku.

This idiotic character
was the exact oposite of the Wolfman... instead of
turning into a werewolf with the full moon, he turned
into a human... Since Jackie Chun destroyed the Moon in
the previous tournament, he got stuck on being a
werewolf, and couldn't meet any more chicks... so he
entered the tounament to make him pay. Jackie Chun played
around with him for a while and pissed him off, then he
tossed a dog biscuit off the platform and Man-wolf went
after it, so he lost. Jackie Chun then hypnotized him
into believing Krilin's bald head was the full Moon and
turned him back into a human. |
| This dork was a big shot
movie star and world fighting champion until he met Goku.
He was tryin to give his acting carrer a huge boost by
winning the Tenkaichi Budoukai, but he just wasn't in the
same level as the other fighters and Goku beats him with
one single elbow strike. He was killed by Tamboureem and
then brought back to life with the Dragon Balls. Now some
people say he never appears again, but I say it's not
true. When Goku was training in planet Yardrat, Chi Chi
hired a private tutor to help Gohan with his studies, and
that guy looked disturbingly like Panput. Besides, he
keeps telling Gohan he's "as useless as that looser
father of his"... what do u think? |

Yajirobe
made his first appearance right after Goku lost against
Tamboureem for the first time. He was an obese kid, but
really strong, and his only ambition was food and
leisure. At first he was just as strong as Goku, but
Goku's Saiyajin nature makes him a lot stronger in little
time. Yajirobe trained with Karin-sama and Kamisama, but
never becomes as strong as any of the other Z fighters.
He's a real coward, and his most important contribution
was cutting off Veget's tail when he went Oozaru while
fighting Goku. Sometimes he shows isolated flashes of
guts, but since he doesn't know any ki techniques, he's
always left behind... |
| The King is another of
those characters with little, almost no importance in the
series. He's forced to give the world to Piccolo Daimaoh
and the appears 15 years later, during the Cell Game,
when he recognized Goku among the fighters... |

Dr. Briefs and Bulma's Mom

These two characters
appeared every now and then thru the series. Bulma's mom
is so irrelevant they don't even mention her name ever...
she's just known as "Bulma's Mom"... Dr.
Briefs, on the other side, is really important. He
designed the Hoihoi Capsules that revolutionized the
entire world and a whole bunch of other gizmos our horoes
needed thru the series. |
After killing Piccolo Daimaoh,
Yajirobe takes Goku to the top of Karin's Tower to heal his
wounds. Up there, Karin tells Goku about the creator of the
Dragon Balls, Kamisama. Goku Climbs up to Kamisama's Temple with
his Nioybo and agrees to train under Kamisama for the next 3
years to defeat Piccolo's son, MA Jr, in the next Tournament.
Mr. Popo

Mr. Popo guarded the
entrance of Kamisama's Temple. He and Karin screen the
visitors to Kamisama. He trained Goku and teh rest of the
Z senshi along with Kamisama. He's faily powerful, but
the Z -senshi soon become more powerful. He has teh
abbility of eating ki attacks, much like C19 and C20,
except he actually eats them with his mouth. On DBZ, he
took Bulma to Yunzabit, the valley where Kamisama's ship
crashed, and taught her the Nameck language so she caould
go to Nameck-sei and find their Dragon Balls. Later on,
when Piccolo fuses back with Kamisama, he trains Dende to
be the next God of Earth. |
