Basically these are little side stories on CD, mainly featuring one character. The CDs are comprised of several drama tracks and vocal tracks ( some are image songs preformed by the voice actors featured in the CD). Really nice if you wanted more Troopers, and don't mind listening to people speak in Japanese.

Tenku Den (Legend of Tenku) The first of the drama CDs released featuring the Troopers. I assume they were first released in 1989 under their original catalog number. This first one features Touma. General agreement has it taking place during one of the (few) peaceful times the Troopers had during the (short?) periods of peace during the first part of the second TV series. Generally the basis of the story is, Touma's mother comes for a visit. This is where Touma learns how to fly. I really can't say too much on this one, it is one of the two CDs that I have not heard and I am relying heavily on others peoples information. It has eleven tracks, three of them vocal, the others drama. Strangely enough (or maybe not . . .) Touma doesn't sing on this CD. One of the longer CDs, it is fifty-two minutes long.

    Suikoden Cover, KICA-2128

Suiko Den {Legend of Suiko} The second drama album released, featuring Shin. (Naturally I have this one. I love it. I even have a poster of the front and back pictures of the booklet. *grin*) Supposedly it occurs around the same time as Tenku Den. Only three of the Troopers, Shin, Seiji and Ryo, are in this one. Shin is the main feature (of course). On a trip to the Five Lakes region, they run across a new Ma Sho who has the power of ice. He quickly takes out Seiji and Ryo, leaving a reluctant Shin to fight. This is where Shin comes to terms with his warrior destiny. It has ten tracks. Four are vocal (three sung by Shin and one by Ryo) five drama and the last track is the instrumental version of the song Shin sang on Kimi o Nemurasenai, Shinjuk Sunset. It runs fifty-three minutes long. The original issue has a sixteen page booklet with five pages of black and white pictures. KICA-5 also has a six-month calender

    Korinden Cover, KICA-30

Korin Den {Legend of Korin} The third drama CD. As the name implies, this is Seiji's CD. (My sister loves this one.) Occurring sometime (???) when he is at home, he gets involved in a car accident (he got ran over by a motorcycle) while saving a little girl. The rest of the Troopers are not in this CD per se, but they are in Seiji's dream world. The longest CD, at sixty-three minutes long, it contains ten tracks. Five drama, four vocal (two by Seiji and one by Shin. One other is sung by a Shinichi Ishihara???) Track eight ends with the full version of Stardust Eyes. The last track is the instrumental version of Nasutei's Tenshi no Love Song. The booklet contains five black and white pictures.
