I'm glad you brought that to my attention, it seems my
minion kaveman is a bit of an illusionist. The tail goes:
When we moved dungeons recently some nasty thieves raided
our old cave while we were away. It doesn't matter how many
traps you set when your minions leave the window open.
One of the things they stole was the kaveman's small wacom
wand, he was very upset. After saving up 80 gp he ordered a
replacement from the wizards guild. It arrived the very same
day as your wondrous treasures. He was so happy he was
leaping around like a fairy on hot coals.
He instantly
set about casting a spell, after hours on the rack, he
has revealed how he did it.
He took the
essence of the "Trollhalla GP", a portion of "Flying
Buffalo Character Sheet", A pinch of "OGL", and mixed
them in a cauldron of "Photoshop",
stirring with the new wand, and an hour or two later, he
had a magic CP.
What diabolical
magic he has, once the thumbscrews were applied, he
revealed his magic. Once you have one, a Troll can make
as many more as he wants and give them to other Trolls
and they can make many many more, and so on. Thus
filling all the treasure chests of the world with his
magic CPs.
The kaveman
says they are called "Snuffed Candles" as that's all you
can buy with a CP. He was most disturbed when I insisted
(on pain of death) that he shows me the tails side of
the coin. What coin has no tail? Oh, how he wailed.
So I smite him,
and pit him in hot oil for a while, to remind him that
smiting Troll Coins is a very serious business.
