The creation of this coin was a spontaneous effect. Quaghmyre had just received his Trollhalla GP. His dark mood had barely lifted. I had just safely received my new wand from the guild, a trip 600 miles to the north. It was the first time I set up all my paraphemalia since we had moved caves. The planets were inline.

I took a few odds and sods that a wizard has laying around on his desk and gave them a stir, chortling and muttering as we do.

When the smoke cleared, I looked into the bottom of the vat. There it was, spinning darkly. Remember, the spin is in the other direction here in the southern hemisphere. The illusion was complete.

When Quaghmyre saw the coin, he insisted that we send it to the Trollgod. It's very difficult to explain to a troll, it's an illusion, doubly so at lunch time.
