A Wedding Day Angel

Today there is a glow upon my face
For in moments I shall be your wife
Then we will share our hopes and dreams together
For as long as God blesses me with life

At times we may have our problems
Through strifes that come our way
But let us always remember
The vows we'll exchange here today

I will love you in good times and bad times
In health and sickness times too
For marriage is a lifelong commitment
That hard times should never undo

Soon I'll be coming to join you
All dressed up with flowers and lace
And I want you to always remember
The glow you will see on my face

And if God should one day take me from you
I will still glow but in a new way above
I will be the angel with flowers and lace
And never forget the way we once loved.

An Angel's Gift to Me

I wished upon a falling star
For love to come my way
I lived alone and felt alone
No change from day to day

Next morning when I stepped outside
A small kitten looked up at me
She ran inside like she belonged
Then turned to look back at me

So I came back in and I sat down
The kitten curled up by my side
I knew my prayer had been heard
For I felt love growing deep down inside

I believe that there are animals in heaven
And the falling star I saw that night
Was an angel bringing me one of her kittens
So that I could have love in my life.
