My Circle of Angels

I lost my father at an early age
My mother died six years ago
Having no parents left upon this earth
Brought me down to an all time low

Soon after, my youngest of sisters
Was taken from this earth as well
I felt so alone and desolate
More than words ever could tell

Since then, more loved ones have followed
To enter the gates of heaven above
For awhile, I felt abandoned
Living my life without all their love

But then I gained a new perspective
And saw how lucky I was after all
For now I have a huge circle of angels
To watch over me each time I fall.

Leaving Loved Ones Behind

I am lying on my death bed
I know my days are few
And it hurts so much to leave this earth
And all of the people I knew

My loved ones all surround me
They provide comfort in every way
They know I am leaving, and I do too
But we all wish that I could stay

I, myself, am fearful of dying
For I know all the wrongs I have done
But thank God he sent the one and only Jesus Christ
My sins were paid for by His only son

Although I hate to leave my loved ones
God is calling me now to come home
Though my loved ones won't see me, I'll be the angel
To provide comfort when each feels alone!
