Capabilities

This rig is
designed for deeper more difficult drilling conditions. Its
primarily designed as a high power heavy duty hollow stem auger
rig. But it has the additional capabilities of drilling mud/air
rotary and stradex, a unique casing advance air percussion drill
system.

High torque means more power.

This rig has over 20,000 ft/lbs of
torque! This equates to the ability to crank through varying
soil conditions and more efficient project completion.

Controlled power.

This rig is geared very low to
make full use of its torque. It has five forward gears, an
electronic throttle control and a fine feed rate for exact
control of drilling rate. In other words this rig has precise
control of its full power range. And a power setting for a
multitude of differing soil conditions which are very common
throughout Southern California.

This rig was completely
redesigned from the ground up to withstand the additional
power and torque ratings and then some. The frame, rotary box,
and right angle drive are all heavy duty and built to take the
forces that this drill can produce.
