Taz Chocolate Slice

Quantity/Servings Makes about 20 slices
Ingredients:
  • 250g butter (mmm Taz like butter)
  • 1 cup caster sugar
  • 3 tablespoon cocoa (Taz think cocoa yummy)
  • 2 cups desiccated coconut ("Taz like to live in land of coconuts" singing)
  • 2 cups cornflakes
  • 2 cups plain flour (Plain flour, BORING)
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon imitation vinilla essence
Preperation:
  1. Taz say to turn oven to 180C and lighly grease 30x20 cm tray (hmm, lightly!)
  2. Melt butter gently in big pan (Taz want to know what gently means?)
  3. Take it off the heat and stir in sugar and cocoa (Taz good stirer)
  4. When sugar dissolved Taz stir in coconut and cornflakes.
  5. Then Taz stir in flour, baking powder and vanilla.
  6. Stir all well till completly mixed (Taz like stirring!)
  7. Taz press it all firmly into tray (Taz rater stomp it in)
Bake 20 Minutes
Serving Suggestion:
Ice with chocolate icing:
Mix
  • 1 cup icing sugar
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons cocoa
  • 1 tablespoon butter
With hot water.
Then smooth spread over slices
(Taz find it hard not to eat icing before it goes on!)


Rum Truffles

Quantity/Servings Makes about 20 slices
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup cake crumbs
  • 3 tablespoons caster sugar
  • 70g ground almonds (Taz gets them caught in teeth)
  • 1 teaspoon cocoa
  • 2 tablespoons grated chocolate
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tablespoon rum
  • 70g packet chocolate hail (Ahh, Hail)
  • 20 foil or paper cases
Preperation:
  1. Taz say put crumbs, sugar and ground almonds in bowl.
  2. Then add cocoa, chocolate, egg youlk and rum (ho ho ho and a bottle of rum)
  3. Mix well until it forms quite a smooth paste
  4. Taz then divide up into small teaspoonful lots.
  5. Then Taz roll with cool dry hands to form a ball. (Roll and rock, or is it Rock and roll?)
  6. Roll the balls in chocolate hail until all covered. (Taz like to roll in chocolate too!)
  7. Place each truffle in a foil or paper sweet case.
  8. Taz then put in covered container in fridge until firm.They keep in fridge for about 10 days. (Taz couldn't
