Driver - Cam-1 Racing Team 2002

A 42-year-old native of Washington, Carey Mahoney has spent his entire life around cars and racing. Carey is not only the driver, but also makes all the tuning decisions on the Big Time top alcohol funny car. Take a look at his resume:

1974-1977
· Maintained sand drag car for Beetle Auto Haus located in Vancouver, WA.

1978-1985
· Built, drove, and tuned a D Modified Buggy sand drag car, winning an unimaginable 15 races in the 1978 season.

1986-1988
· Built, drove, and tuned a Volkswagen sand drag car which finished #1 in modified buggy points overall.
· Built engines and tuned the Northwind, a AA Sand Modified Jeep which collected two National Records.

1988-Present
· Driver and Tuner of the Big Time Top Alcohol Funny Car.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
· Engine builder for the A Sand Modified record holding Nightshift Jeep.
· Engine builder and driver for Jim Scott's Wild Thing Super Pro asphalt roadster.
· Crew Chief for the Summer Wine, a blown alcohol match race altered for two years.
· 1987 Sport Bracket Points Champion for N.W.S.C.A.
· 1990 Mechanic of the year. (N.S.C.A.)
· 1994 Mechanic of the year. (N.S.C.A.)
· Engine builder for the Instigator, the top alcohol funny car champion in 1998.
· Six N.S.C.A. Fuel Points Championships.
· Top Alcohol Funny Car Mile Per Hour National Record Holder.
· Track Record Holder at Newtown, Virginia.

Car & Crew - Cam-1 Racing Team 2002

Carey Mahoney's tuning abilities are complimented with a crew that gets the job done. Whether in the shop or at the track, this crew performs like a well tuned machine to keep the Big Time Top Alcohol Funny Car running strong. The entire crew comes from the Southwest Washington Area.

BIG TIME CREW: Brad Miller, Steve Brooks, Chad Mahoney, Cory Mahoney and the Dollars Corner Outlaws.

ABOUT THE CAR: The car is a replica of a 1923 Ford body mounted on a round tube chassis that weighs 1800 lbs. It's powered by an all aluminum 500 cubic inch Chevrolet engine, blown and injected, running on methanol. It has a 3 speed air shifted transmission and special scooped tires to help control the 1800 horsepower. The car is painted show quality candy apple red with pearl flames and always shines.

Drag racing in the sand is very exciting. Racing takes place on a straight track that is 100-yards long, and built in sand. Other than the surface and the length it is identical to drag racing on the asphalt but you really get to see the sand fly.

The Big Time top alcohol funny car will run consistently under 3 seconds and at speeds in excess of 100 miles per hour!

The Big Time top alcohol funny car's wheels up runs and parachute stops make it a crowd favorite everywhere it races.

Your business or product's name will be displayed on our race team trailer. It will be announced throughout events when the car is running. You will be listed on our color action photo handouts. You will also be added to our car paintwork along with being featured on our website.

$2,500.00 PACKAGE
You will receive all of the above information, plus your logo will be added to our racing apparel that is sold at all races, and you will receive a signed portrait of the car for display in your business.

$10,000.00 PACKAGE
You will receive all of the above information but since this is a major sponsorship your name or product will be displayed in large size, taking up about 60% of the race team trailer and will be embroidered on all race team uniforms including the drivers firesuit.

$25,000.00 PACKAGE
You will receive all of the above information but the car will be painted with your logo and colors, as the main highlight.
