News

  • 5-03-01 - There is has been a lot of news in accordance with STEEL #2. Apparently The Runner and The Office couldn't make it to STEEL #2 because The Runner is trying to reinvent his running career and nobody challenged The Office. Phantom paid a visit to The Runner on Wednesday the second and apparently he convinced The Runner to set the Sexiest Man Alive Tournament back to June 1st or 2nd. He also convinced The Runner to announce another STEEL event before the Sexiest Man Alive Tournament. The Runner said "The fact that Phantom was being a little physical with me did not make me issue the announcement of STEEL #3 and the post-ponement of the Sexiest Man Alive Tournament. I was thinking about doing it anyway and it would probably be more convenient for all the UWC wrestlers anyway." Phantom basically booked STEEL #3. He "requested" a match between him and Meat Man, possibly to get revenge for what Meat Man did to his Darkside brother, Dare Devil at STEEL #1 and STEEL #2,. He also got The Runner to ok a match between Dare Devil and Killer Sk8er. Apparently Phantom does not want Dare Devil hanging out with Killer Sk8er as he was at STEEL #2. Maybe he did that to possibly create a feud between the former best friends. Phantom also had The Runner book a match between UWC World Champion, The Office and Cadwalider Giskaas for the World Title with Guest Referee Lover Boy. There is a possibility that Black Shadow may show up. The reason he hasn't been able to make it to UWC events is because he has been in a mental institution since Christmas eve 2000. Phantom predicts that Black Shadow will be out soon. Cracker will also be involved but he won't be wrestling. He will be special refing STEEL except for the World Title match. Phantom and The Runner both agreed he shouldn't ref that match because The Office and Giskaas are both on bad terms with Cracker. Almond will also be making his UWC debut by taking on Lover Boy. Spazz and The Punk are expected to have a HaRdCoRe match. The winner of that match will pick up their first victory in the UWC and become the number one contender for the HaRdCoRe Championship which is currently held by The Grammer.

  • 4-02-01 - Well this is the first update of April. Wrestlemania was pretty gay if you ask me. Why did they turn Austin heel when The Rock was getting booed out of the fucking Astrodome? Well on to UWC news, a young man by the name of Goonfield has challenged Cracker, Meat Man, and Lover Boy to a three-on-one match. The date of the match is undisclosed until Cracker has made a full recovery from his stabbing that he suffered at the hands of Phantom. Well, that is all. Have a nice day!

  • 3-16-01 - The UWC Website will not be moving over to TheGlobe.com this summer. Apparently, TheGlobe canceled our account over there without any kind of notice. That sucks because about 90% of our wrestling pictures were on the globe account. I recently e-mailed them, to see if I could get temporary access to my account and get the pictures off of them. I don't think they will give it to me though. So, if any of you have any of the pictures on your computer... PLEASE e-mail them to me by clicking the e-mail button to the left. In other news, Cracker, the HaRdCoRe Champion, had emergency surgery due to a stabbing he suffered. He was stabbed three times in the abdomen by no other then the Phantom. Phantom was arrested, but Cracker wishes not to press charges. He rather get his revenge in the ring. He should be ready for the Sexiest Man Alive Tournament.

  • 3-11-01 - It has been nearly a month since the last news update for good reason: jack shit has been happening. The weather here in Great Falls, MT has been really fucked up lately. It was 62 degrees out and sunny on Thursday, and then on Friday it was around 30 degrees and snowing. So until the weather starts getting calm, we won't be able to have the SMAT Tournament. But, SMAT will be taking place this Spring. That is final. Expect the UWC shows to really pick this summer. Well, thats about it, nothing really special for today.

  • 2-10-01 - We recieved a poem to Meat Man today from D' Metrea. Click here to read it. We have found out the reason Dare Devil has left for Washington. Apparently after Meat Man chokeslammed Dare Devil on Cracker's car, Dare Devil did get hurt. He just didn't notice it until about a month later when he started peeing blood. He went to the doctor and got it checked out and apparently he has some sort of kidney problem. He moved to Washington to rehabilitate. It is not certain if Dare Devil will be able to wrestler ever again. In other news, Blue Giant has been suspended from the UWC. Dan Gregier has not been very impressed with Blue Giant and feels the UWC would be better without him. Although, Dan Gregier says if Blue Giant can get his crap together, he can come back to the UWC by the time of the Sexiest Man Alive Tournament if he so desires.

  • 2-09-01 - Things are kind of slowing down for the UWC do to some roster restraints. Truck Stop is dead, Dare Devil is leaving for Washington, and Blue Giant is contimplating his stay here. Don't expect the Sexiest Man Alive Tournament to get underway any time soon. The SMAT Tournament will most likely be held this spring which is about a couple of months away.

  • 2-02-01 - Some sad news for fans of the UWC and especially fans of the nitorious, Dare Devil. Dare Devil will be exploring his darker side in the evil state of Washington. We are sorry that Devil chose to go. Maybe Dare Devil will find another wrestling fed to wrestle in. Caboose has stated that he wants to get one last interview with Dare Devil. So be looking forward to that in the next few days. In some brighter news, The Grammer has been interviewed by somebody. We don't know who interviewed him, but many are specilating that our old Column Writer, Mike Hall did it in attempt to get his old job back. Nobody knows. Well, to read the interview just click here.   • 1-24-01 - Bookers for the UWC have announced that there is a possibility that Almond and The Office may be facing off for the World title on Sunday January 28, 2001. Though this is Almond's first match, Commissioner Runner has granted him a title shot. "I want my UWC debut to be a smash," says Almond, "I want to become the UWC World Champion!" Many wrestlers, such as Cadwalider Giskaas and Lover Boy are pissed. "I am ranked fifth and Almond is ranked thirteenth! If anybody deserves a title shot, it is me!" states Cadwalider. "I just don't see how he can come in here and just get a title shot like that. I have been waiting a long time to get my shot at The Office and I still haven't got it," says the angry Lover Boy. In other news, Cracker is willing to defend his HaRdCoRe title on Sunday. "I am in a fighting mood. So whether it is Dare Devil, Sk*ter fag, Cadwalider, or that bitch, The Punk, I will put my HaRdCoRe title on the line," says Cracker. Commissioner Runner has announced that the UWC will start a women's division very soon. Rumor has it that Lover Boy's very own sister, Felicia, will be taking on Cadwalider Giskaas. The winner will be crowned the first woman's champion. This has been the news for January 24, 2001.

  • 1-09-01 - The site again is working and the Sexiest Man Alive Tournament should be getting under way soon. Black Shadow seems really excited according to his friend Cadwalider "He doesn't stop talking about it, but he is concerned about what he is going wear." There is really no other news as of today so come and check back with us in the next couple of days.

  • 1/07/01 - Again something is wrong with Geocities. For some reason every time anyone tries to go to the site, it says this site doesn't exist on geocities. This is obviously a bunch of bullshit because I have been able to log in and edit it. If I had more time I would start transfering everything over to The Globe. Sometime this summer, the site will be moving over there. In other news, a wrestler named The Deity has challenged Lover Boy to a match. This will be Lover Boy's second match and he has pretty high hopes. "He better be prepared to go down to the lovehug!" says Lover Boy proudly. "I am the best there is in the UWC!" It is nice to see Lover Boy so optimistic after battling with severe depression. We all hope the best for Lover Boy here in the UWC. Truck Stop's funeral was today. It's sad that he died so young. I am really concerned about Blue Giant. He doesn't seem to be taking the loss very well. Well, that is all news for today. Good night everyone.

  • 12/30/00 - STEEL #1 took place yesterday despite the cold weather we are having in Montana. Many of the wrestlers skipped out on their matches such as: Lover Boy, The Punk, The Grammer, and Truck Stop. We sorry to hear that after STEEL, Truck Stop had checked in a hospital with a very high fever. He was later diagnosed with severe AIDS and died hours later. You can check out the STEEL results in the Results section of the site. STEEL didn't live up to the hype due to the cold weather and frozen ground, which made doing and taking moves very painful. Plus, some wrestlers didn't show up. The best match was Cracker vs Cadwalider Giskaas. Cracker attempted and did some crazy ass moves to Cadwalider. Cadwalider barely lived through the match. The funniest match was Cadwalider vs Blue Giant. The scariest match was Meat Man vs The Office due to the fact The Office kept taking moves incorrectly. The worst match was Dare Devil vs Sk8ter Kid. Dare Devil is good, but Sk8ter Kid can't seem to work a match very well. There were many cool bumps in this event. Here are some to name a few: Cadwalider getting thrown about five feet in the air over Blue Giant's back; Cadwalider getting thrown about six feet in the air over Cracker's shoulder and landing on his head; Cadwalider taking a weird somoan drop type thing in which Cracker landed right on Cadwalider. That move was really painful because the ground was frozen solid and Cracker landed right on Cadwalider's stomach; Cracker took a pedigree on the frozen ground by The Office; Meat Man did a nasty suplex to The Office that turned into a DDT; Dare Devil took a fucking hard suplex from Cracker on the frozen ground; Dare Devil was also chokeslammed onto a car by Meat Man; last but not least, Meat Man was thrown into some garbage cans by The Office. Ok, in other news, Commissioner Runner announced the next UWC event, the Sexiest Man Alive Tournament.

  • 12/21/00 - The storylines section was updated today and there is a huge announcement reguarding The Grammer and Cracker. On Christmas Day, Cracker and The Grammer will square off in a no-holds-barred match. This is The Grammer's first official match, but he has had confontations with Cracker before and should be able to pull off the victory.

  • 12/16/00 - It has been a long time since I have updated the news section of the site. The main page is more of a news section then this as it seems. There was a big scare last night. I couldn't get into my geocities account and therefore couldn't edit the site. It said I had the wrong password. I tried logging in like 40 times and it didn't work. I come on today and trying logging in and it works!! Geocities has been pretty disappointing as a website server. They are slow and they are constantly having problems. There is a good chance that the site might move over to theglobe.com. They are extremely fast, they offer more webspace, and they don't have problems all the time. It is still cold and snowy in Great Falls so we don't know when STEEL will take place. We don't know what kind of involvement The Grammer will have in it but we know he somehow will. Everybody go check out the pictures section of the site. We added over 30 pictures and they pretty cool.

  • 11/17/00 - Many parts of the site have been updated. We have actually added some pictures to the pictures part and tons more columns have been added. We provided a survey for fans to take which should be quite interesting. We hope to get videos and music up soon. We are currently editing the STEEL Intro video which should be pretty cool. Check back with us every now and then.

  • 11/8/00 - For the past couple weeks the UWC website has been under extensive reconstruction. I am happy to say that the site looks much better then it use to. Our goal was to make the site more professional looking, but not too boring. I think we obtained that goal. As the months go by, expect an up to date site with useful information that you can use in your own backyard fed. We thank you for coming the site and we hope that you come back often.

  • 11/4/00 - The UWC Column Writer, Mike Hall interviewed The Runner today. Check out the exclusive interview by either going to the Columns section or just clicking here!

  • 11/3/00 - The card for Sunday Night Steel has been announced by The Runner. The card only has three matches but Commissioner Runner says there will be more matches added to the card on the day of the event. Check out the Events section of the site to see the card.

  • 10/28/00 - A match took place againts The Punk and Cracker today. Check out the Results page to see what happened.

  • 10/25/00 - A backstage brawl happened between Cracker and Blue Giant. As a result a match was scheduled between the two. Head over to the Results section of the site to see what happened. After the match was over, Blue Giant attacked Cracker with the help of Lover Boy. Meatman saw this and ran out to help Cracker. He took out Blue Giant while Cracker took on Lover Boy.

  • 10/18/00 - It has been a long time since the site has been updated and a lot of news has happened. Cracker took on The Office for the Ultimate Wrestling Challenge World Championship. To see what happened check out the Results section of the site. After the match, Cracker attacked The Runner at Video Library. Cracker stunned him and punched him repeatedly. As a result, Cracker had another match for the night. This time a one on three match against Lover Boy, Meatman, and The Office.

  • 8/12/00 - The Runner was appointed official commissioner of the Ultimate Wrestling Challenge by his father and owner of the UWC, Dan Gregier.

  • 8/11/00 - The World title tournament was held today. The tournament was very entertaining and should lead to some very entertaining spots for the months to come in the UWC. The outcome of the tournament was very suprising as result of some politics of The Runner. To see what happened check out the Results section of the site.

  • 7/31/00 - An unofficial Junkyard match was held yesterday between The Punk and Cracker. The match will be stricken from the record books but ended in a no contest. The match started out with Cracker giving The Punk a hard DDT. Cracker then picked The punk up for a backdrop onto a car hood. After a while, The Punk took control by smashing beer cans, and sticks over Caucasian Heat's head and back. Cracker fired back with a Somoan Drop onto a car hood. Meatman interfered and nailed The Punk with sticks and other foreign objects. While Meatman was distracted, The Punk pulled off a hellacious bulldog to Cracker. Meatman came after The Punk but only to be sprayed with Baby Powder. The Punk then poured Baby Powder all over Cracker but most of it actually ended up on The Punk. After that, The Punk ran inside his house like a weiner and Cracker and Meatman left, ending the match in a no contest.
