JANUARY 1, 2000.

Hi! It's a new year! I'm not totally sure what that means but everyone keeps saying it. *giggle giggle* We had great fun over Christmas. Got lots of presents, decorated the house, spent lots of time with family and I got to play with all my cousins! I gotta go back to school this week. That's okay though coz I missed all my friends. My teacher too! So I'm kinda excited.

Know what? Santa came into my room and didn't even wake me up! I don't believe that! He left me a great big tiger stuffed animal for my bed. He sleeps with me at night. My sisters just got dogs. Oh and I got a walkie talkie set. It has 2 headphones and a base station so we can all play together! Mom says it's time to clean out all our toys coz there's no room to put all the new stuff and it's kinda messy. She took the tree down today and is puting the living room back the way it was. I liked our tree ... it was really pretty. My Meme bought it for us this year. We had lots of lights all over the house! Even on the inside!

We went to my daddy's house today. He always takes us out for breakfast every weekend and then we go back to his house to play. Sometimes when the weather is nice we always go to the park too! When it snowed last week we made 3 snowman's in his yard. Just little ones, but I liked them. I like playing in the snow. Last year we got tons of snow, but not yet this year. Just a little bit that one day, that's all.

Well, I gotta go for now. It's almost dinner time and I want to watch one of my new movies. We got 5 of them this year! Whew. That's a lot. We watched them all too! *giggle, giggle*

Well, here we are again eh? Do you like my new room? I sort of share it with my sisters. It's actually 2 joining rooms with a door in the middle. Mom said I could have my own room since this house is bigger but I didn't want one. I like being with my sisters. She even took the door in between out so I can now see Summer when we go to bed. I can't see Sierra but I know she's just around the corner. We also have a HUGE closet! It's big enough for my desk and my toybox some toy shelves and there's even some cupboards in there! We like to play in there all the time. The TV room across the hall has a big closet like that too. My mom is using that closet for her though coz her room doesn't have one. It just has some storage space that leads to the attic.

So did you go out for Halloween? I did. With my mom and my sisters and my cousin Nicholas (he's gonna be 3 this Christmas) and my aunts and Nicholas' mom and even more people! We had great fun. I was a green DINOSAUR! ROOOAARRRRR! I do that real good, don't I? My Meme made my costume. It was real nice, she even painted my face with big white teeth and scales. My sisters were both clowns. They looked pretty funny. My friend at school was a clown too. Oh! So was my mommy! Meme made her a costume too so she dressed up with us. Hopefully soon we can scan some pictures for you to see.

I can tie my shoes real good now. I only ask for help when we're in a hurry. I got my first progress report and did real good! I have to work on recognizing some of my numbers to 30 still and my teacher says I'm shy. I have lots of fun at school and like it a lot! Last week I even got an award for always being so cooperative. Mom said she was real proud of me. I'm glad.
I have to go now. It's my bedtime. I'll come back another day ok? See you later!

My mom used to play her CD all the time when I was 2 and I liked to dance around to this song. It was the best one! I thought so anyway. I still ask her to play it sometimes. It's pretty cool.

So, ya know I'm 5. I'm in Senior Kindergarten now. With the big guys! Last year I was just one of the new kids in Junior Kindergarten but this year I get to go out for recess and line up outside in the morning with everyone else. My mom might tell you I cried again on the first day but don't believe her! Okay...well, maybe I was a little scared and cried. Just a little bit, but I saw some tears in mommy's eyes too! I had lots of fun once school started and now I love it!

I have 2 sisters. Sierra and Summer who are younger than me. I'm the oldest and get to boss them around. Well, mom doesn't like it when I do that so I try not to but I do help her out a lot. My sisters are pretty cool...most of the time anyway. Sometimes we argue and they get on my nerves but usually we like to play together and have lots of fun!

I also have a new dog. We had another one before. Mom had her before I was even born! She was real nice and her name was Ebony, but she got real sick and mom had to take her to the vet to get better but she never did and then didn't come home again. Mom says she's in a better place now. Up in Heaven at The Rainbow Bridge where she's not sick anymore so that's good. I'm happy for her, but I do miss her sometimes. My new dog Caesar is really big and likes to play alot. He scares me sometimes coz he knocks me down. I know he's just playing but I still get nervous when he's in the house. Mom never leaves him alone with us so that makes me feel better. I know that one day we'll be great friends and I won't be scared anymore. I like taking him for walks though and sometimes I play fetch with him too! Sierra just adores Caesar and isn't scared of him at all!

Oh yeah, guess what? I'm learning to tie my own shoes. I can tie a bow, but it's still a little loose and sometimes comes undone. I can even tell time! I have my very own watch too! I like playing with Dinosaurs and cars and I like playing soccer and baseball. Mom says next year I can even join a team if I want! Right now I usually play with Daddy when he comes to visit. He doesn't live with us but he comes to play with me and my sisters 1 day during the week and we get to spend Saturday's or Sunday's with him. I love when daddy comes. We have tons of fun! He even taught me how to play a game called "War" with cards and I beat him!!! Yeah!

SO now you know a little about me. I'll come back again and tell you some more sometime. Right now I have to go and eat my lunch. We're having spaghetti! That's my favourite. Yum! Yum!
