18th March, started off as a normal church day when a Mr. Alex Kamalata, a former NRDC friend to Mr. Sipula Robert, invited him for a church service in Lusaka's Mtendere surburb. This culminated into a lengthy discussion with pastor Kabamba Kolosa .K on what best could be done to save mankind from corruption which was ever ravaging the church of God.

On 25th March 2001, during an informal discussion, it was agreed that an anti-corruption movement be formed at the University of Zambia, Great East Road campus. This movement was to concentrate it's efforts at prevention rather than cures.

Mr. Sipula Robert, the present chairperson, in consultation with Mr. Phiri Kennedy, the present vice-chairperson, started to invite strong men and women who met for the first time on 19th April 2001. All the members present agreed to participate fully and formed the first UNZAAMO executive
