       4. Scrap the 100-peso deposit.
A fee imposition that does not provide any benefit to the students should be scrapped. The collection of the 100-peso deposit from incoming UP students has been seen as an additional burden and as another income generating scheme of the University. The accumulated unclaimed deposits should be re-channeled to the different student councils and publications of the University where it can be utilized for the advantage of the students.

       5. Call for an End to the Collection of Exorbitant Fees.
Some of the money collected from us during the course of our stay in UP does not serve a definite purpose. Such are the very high facilities use fees, community chest fund, filing fee for Leave of Absence (LOA), fee for Dropping and other imposed fees/fines. The collected amount, which belongs to the students, should be channeled to the SC and the Tug-ani. Further collection of those kinds of fees should be stopped.

       6. Strengthen the UNISO and Establish Alliances with other Sectors of UP and the Outside Community.
The potential of UNISO as a body that will further the interests of the students and the organizations has not been fully tapped. This year, NKE will rigorously push for the establishment of the UNISO's by-laws to provide direction to the Alliance. It must also be recognized that the alliances we forge must not remain only within the campus. Thus, NKE's thrust is to establish strong partnerships with organizations from the outside community. We must unite with the workers, peasants, urban poor and other basic sectors to advance the call for social equity.

       7. Push for athletic support.
Our athletes bring the name and glory of our college. Thus, the college should allocate the sufficient funding to support our athletes and other athletic endeavors. To aid in their training, budget should be provided to enhance our sports facilities and equipment.
