Sunrise  -  light ship.

Reveille  -  Wash down decks and ladders.

Breakfast  -  SECOND section eat first.

Must section 2B, port side No. 3 hatch.

Muster deck divisions at quarters  -  All other divisions take sight muster.

A.  Deck divisions  -  Proper use of steadying lines.  Last 15 minutes  -  semaphore

B.  Gunner’s Mates and Fire controlmen  -  1.1 platform.

Secure  -  Clean sweep down  -  Muster section 1B in mess hall.

Movies in mess hall.  Men will not enter mess hall before 1915.  (one hour after sunset).

WATER HOURS

Outside of waters hours, water pump will run for 5 minutes each half hour, ie. 1200  - 1205;             1230  -  1235.

 

 

CAPTAIN’S INSPECTION was most satisfactory.  A few men needed haircuts.  On Wednesday, some fire main and drain valves were found which were frozen or covered with paint.  Check all valves  -  be sure they work easily.
