Bio:
ChoTal was born and raised in the Daltar Province on Kronos where his parents taught him the use of conventional and unconventional survival skills not known in other parts of the Federation.
ChoTal has master status in the use of all Klingon bladed weapons and self defense maneuvers. Recruited into the I K S at age 17 after passing the Rights of Ascension.
He then went to earth to learn Starfleet Protocols and met his current Captain Bev Bannon there as a student. They became good friends, even given the tensions that were still evident between their 2 races.
Involved in numerous operations for both the Klingon Empire and Federation. Their mutual tenacity to succeed make the friendship all the stronger while at the academy.
After graduation they parted and went to their assigned commands, keeping in touch on a yearly basis when they met back on Earth to go and see how things had changed.
Last Posting for ChoTal was the I K S Dol'Tach.
Before receiving a message from then at that time Chief Medical Officer Bev who was aboard the U S S Marshall to attend her wedding to the human commander of that ship Cal Bannon. Shortly thereafter he was re-assigned to the U S S Marshall by Admiral William Riker as a favor to Bev's new husband Cal Bannon to watch over her. When the offer came for Bev to command her own ship and she asked ChoTal to be her first officer, he gladly accepted.
