It's Official....

   It was changed 3 times during the many times the Manila Core met.  Then people abroad were given the honor of deciding on the reunion date through the Canadian representative, Fenchie Cajiuat.  We did a survey and asked the batchmates outside the Philippines to cast their votes.  After the final tally of the ballots it was sent to Manila for approval.  The date of the 2003 Grand Reunion in Manila has been finalized and declared official by Fr. Erick.
D E C L A R A T I O N

I, Paring Erick, Chairman and in behalf of the Organizing Committee of the
THS Batch '78 and the Manila Core Group do hereby declare that the SILVER JUBILEE HOMECOMING WEEK 2003is now officially scheduled on the Second Week of August 2003 culminating with the Homecoming Night on 9 August 2003, Saturday, at Torres High School.
The Divas Took Manhattan.....

   Don't miss to read this hilarious account of how the "divas" mini-reunion in Manhattan unfolded.  With the usual entertaining journalism flavor from Kuya Vic, you will have a vivid picture of the event.  I can almost see them screaming and TOL (talking out loud) in my mind.  Not even the rain can stop these divas determination to paint the town red....
My Son, My Son.....

   Here is a very touching tribute of a father to a son.  Noe Espino aka Bespren Diego as we all know passed away due to a vehicular accident.  Here is the tribute that Noe's father wrote for him. Thanks, Nilo for sharing this worderful piece.  Nilo told me that their parents were classmates of THS batch '49 (Lino and Luming Espino).

THS BATCH '78 ANNUAL MINI REUNION AND FELLOWSHIP

   A successful big reunion was held on August 31st in Manila.  Here it is again, complete with pictures.  Many new comers showed up and most of the oldtimers came, too.  It was graced by the presence of 2 most popular teachers in high school.  See all the great pictures sent by Paring Erick.
