"Two cheers to Lotus for making Agenda highly useful and then abandoning it as a product. Agenda is a task and time management program that incorporates a simple form of AI. It looked like a good path toward more practical application of AI. Agenda isn't at all easy to learn, and there's no Windows version, but it will run DOS under Windows and has no problems with OS/2. If  you're an OS/2 user, you'll probably like Agenda. (Tiger Software is selling Agenda at a special price of $79.95. The original list price was $249. You can contact them at 800 Douglas Entrance, Executive Tower,  Seventh Floor, Coral Gables, FL 33134, (800) 888-4437; fax (305) 529-3438.)"

"If you do use Agenda, you'll want President's Plannner from Phase III. Agenda has a macro capability so rich that it might as well be a programming language, and President's Planner is a set of macros that makes Agenda learnable and more useful. It calls itself the first "do what I mean", time and information plannner, and that's pretty close to the truth. I can't quite see giving a User's Choice Award to a program that supports an orphan, so President's Plannner will have to settle for a Chaos Manor Orchid. If Lotus was really smart, they'd by President's Plannner, bundle it into Agenda, run it over Notes, and reissue the product as Agenda for Notes.", Jerry Pournelle, BYTE Magazine, April 1993

Bullet "President's Planner is very easy to install and use.  It has significant 'smarts' and helps me most by automagically(!) moving entries to appropriate views without my having to first determine which view is most appropriate for a given entry, moving to that view, and then entering the info.  I recommend it highly for anyone who must track to-dos, phone calls, appointments, etc.", Mitch Hobish, June 1993;

Bullet "it's an impressive piece of programming, and already I can't imagine working without it.", Mitch Hobish, May 1993;

Bullet  "with the possible exception of Alex Todd's Partner's Planner, there's never been a compelling real-world application that could not roughly [be] duplicated by other easier-to-run, less-expensive programs", Mark Seiler, May 1993;

Bullet "I strongly recommend Alex Todd's Partner's Planner.", Bill Wright, May 1993;

Bullet "I have found Partner's Planner,... of stupendous capabilities, to be the key to unlocking the incredible info mgmt power of Agenda.... extremely easy to use, very inexpensive for what you get and ... the best and easiest Agenda teaching tool that I have ever seen.  ...the first  software  program that ... really ben[e]fits me in keeping the balls in the air....  Try the program and I think that you will really see the potential of Agenda." Jim Morrison, March 1993;

Bullet "President's Planner is a wonderful program--the more I use it, the more I appreciate it.", Henry Stein, March 1993;

Bullet "Your program speeds up my note taking a great deal and makes my projects go faster.", John Shearer, March 1993;

Bullet "I'd like to pass along a recommendation. For about the past month I've been using Alex Todd's program President's Planner. As most of you know, it is an Agenda Application that helps one organize one's day in terms of to do's, information management, etc.  This program is rapidly becoming indispensable to me helping me, with little knowledge of Agenda, extract a great deal of power from the program.  Having just purchased Agenda (realizing its status with Lotus) I have been a bit concerned about buying into this program at this point in it's life cycle.  However I like Presplan so much, I'm going to stick with it.  Also, I've found Alex Todd to be very responsive to questions regarding optimizing the programs operation.", Steve Rothman, January 1993;

Bullet "I've been using Agenda for a couple of years, and started using President's Planner about a year ago. It has revolutionized the way I keep track of appointments, to-do-items, etc.", James Birkitt, January 1993....
