1. When you are required to "registure" or "sign-up" in order to get something, you may want to have an alternate email account to give the site. This will cut down on the email (read that "spam") you get at your "regular" account.

2. Sometime you may be in a chat room and some one wants to send you something . . .
    like maybe a lengthy, lewd but comical joke? What if the kids go checking your email?  hmmm?

3. There are lots of free email accounts available and you should never have to pay for "extra" services . . .
    there is a free e-mail service in this community that will do all that you want . . .
    it's just a matter of trying a few out.

    Most of these accounts will start "throwing out" your oldest letters when you account gets full.
    If you haven't been to the site in a while that means you may loose some mail you really wanted to keep.
    That is one reason why you don't want to contribute to the problem  . . .
