Societies for SAJV Characters,
Concepts, and Over-All Silliness

What are Societies?  They're fun, that's what!  Societies are open to  everyone on the  Secret Adventures of Jules Verne BB, just as the BB is open to anyone who likes the show -- newbies need not be afraid!  Membership 'requirements' for societies are usually limited to simply being enamored of a character, a concept, or simply having fun.  We even have societies for our  pets to join, if we think they can contribute to the cause.  Societies 'take care' of characters, warehouse gadgets, polish the silver, beat up bad guys (especially ones who got away from our heroes), and in general create a fun, supportive community -- not just for the characters, but also for  each other.

Not everyone chooses a society (nor are they excluded from the fun of the BB if they decline), but when they  do choose a group (or groups), they're often visited by "The Title Fairy."  The Title Fairy is the one who bonks new members on the head with her wand, thereby giving them silly, useful, or just plain wicked ideas for things they can do or for which they can be responsible.  Some members choose to simply be the partner of someone with a fun "job".  Lists of these functions are listed in a link in each society's "bio".  We hope you decide to drop in on the BB and join the fun -- but if not, then this section will at least give you an idea of the "flavor" of our community.
