Item 1:        Update on petitions

·         So far we have about 140 signatures for the two petitions (one for Sunrise Bhd to stop working on Saturdays, one for appointment of five resident committee representatives) and we will continue obtaining signatures from the remaining residents

·         Any resident who hasn’t signed these petitions yet, but wish to do so may contact the following persons:

-         Block A units 01-04 by Mr Ryan Leong (A-11-03)

-         Block A units 05-08 by Mr Frankie Ng (A-23-07)

-         Block B units 01-04 by Mr Danny Ee (B-19-01)

-         Block B units 05-08  by Mr Jeffrey Ong (B-03-07)

·         We will go ahead and meet up with Triomphe Vista Management Sdn to set up monthly meetings to 1) understand what has been done in the past month, 2) what is being planned in coming month, and 3) provide feedback from residents to management office

Item 2:        Laman Suria development by Sunrise Bhd Update

·         Mr Lee Po Shing informed the residents that he had received a letter from Sunrise Bhd. In this letter, two particular points are relevant: 1) Sunrise Bhd request that the correspondence letters that were put up be removed from the notice-boards, and 2) an updated statement “the completion of the piling works is expected to be by 14 July 2001 {next Saturday}, barring any unforeseen circumstances”. This is good news since we were told earlier that piling would continue for another “one or two months” until late August.

Item 3:        Circulation of these meeting minutes

·         A Vista Kiara newsgroup has already been set up - minutes of meeting and any other relevant information will be put onto this newsgroup. Any residents who want to be part of this newsgroup can send an email to leeposhing@yahoo.com

·         The minutes of last meeting were put up on the notice-boards in the mail room and we shall continue with this until further notice

Item 4:        Timing of future residents committee meeting

·         It was agreed that we shall set future residents committee meetings on the last Saturday of each month at 4pm outside the squash and badminton courts. We recognize that some residents may be outstation and/or busy, but let us try this until a more suitable time can be selected. Any residents who have comments or questions may contact any of the presently nominated committee members
