Item 1:        Nomination of Committee Members

·         A petition nominating five persons (Mr Ong Chee Howe, Mr Lee Po Shing, Mr Frankie Heng, Ms Irene Hartanto, Ms Ann Chin) to sit on the board of residents committee of Vista Kiara condominium and act as representatives in all dialogue, meetings, and discussions with Triomphe Vista Kiara Management Sdn Bhd and Asia Quest Sdn Bhd, will be put together and we have four volunteers who will go and visit all the residents (see below)

Item 2.1:     Petition regarding noise from Laman Suria development by Sunrise Bhd

·         An update was provided – minutes of the full correspondence has been put up on the notice-boards. Sunrise Bhd Customer Relations officer Ms Gail Thurkle has stated that the heavy piling will continue for one to two months and by late August will be over. The next phase should be much quieter

·         If Sunrise Bhd were to not work on Saturdays like presently, then assuming eight weeks of working six days a week translates into 48 man days of work. This means ten weeks of working five days a week, i.e. a delay of two weeks

·         The members present decided to conduct a petition requesting Sunrise Bhd to stop work on Saturdays so that residents of Vista Kiara can have a quiet weekend

Item 2.2:     Circulation of these meeting minutes

·         A copy of this will be put up on the residents notice board in the mail rooms

·         Residents who have email can send an email to leeposhing@yahoo.com and will receive an electronic copy of the draft minutes. Also, a Vista Kiara  residents committee web-site is being prepared and will include these minutes along with any other relevant information

·         The nominees in the petition above will request that these minutes be put up on residents information section of notice-board

Item 3:        Next steps

·         The two petitions (one for Sunrise Bhd to stop working on Saturdays, one for appointment of five resident committee representatives are being conducted by the following persons:

-         Block A units 01-04 by Mr Ryan Leong (A-11-03)

-         Block A units 05-08 by Mr Frankie Ng (A-23-07)

-         Block B units 01-04 by Mr Danny Ee (B-19-01)

-         Block B units 05-08  by Mr Jeffrey Ong (B-03-07)

·         There will be a meeting at 9pm at Edo Ichi on Wednesday 4 July 2001 to follow up on the two petitions and confirm time and place of meeting with TVKM
