Atlantica RP Combat Rules
Setting the standard for the Neo-A&E
(Note to the reader: The introduction to the "Atlantica RP Combat Rules" is IC for artistic reasons, but the Combat Rules themselves are to be understood as OOC information for the players.)
INTRODUCTION
Greetings Traveler,
My name is General Tungston…welcome to the Training Grounds of the Atlantica Military Academy. Before we begin, I would first like to tell you the reason why this specific part of our Kingdom is so important. It is here that the many soldiers and Knights of Atlantica train and study in the art of combat to become the great warriors and noble leaders that legends speak of. King Falcon himself established this Academy during the second year of his reign, understanding how crucial the defense of our Kingdom would be to its survival in the coming years.
What is contained herein are not just GUIDELINES upon which to base your combat style in A&E RP alone, but they are the evolution of RULES upon which to base your combat style in RP throughout the RPG realms. Unlike other parts of RPG, RP Combat is an area which requires Rules necesssary to fairly govern the process of the game. Revised by Falcon and developed under his supervision, these rules make quick note to condemn such corrupted combat styles, techniques, and references as T2, Hybrid, and Death Boards in order to produce the most comprehensive, honest, fair, and enjoyable RP Combat lessons available to date.
Not covered in these pages are areas of RP such as Character Development, Character Creation, Plot Development and other aspects of RP that are of no immediate importance to the Rules of RP Combat. So step forward curious traveler and read these works carefully so that you might gain the wisdom of how to compete correctly in the art of RP Combat, the most controversial and interactive part of your RP experience. And as you do, remember the three most important rules in all of RP…
1. HAVE FUN
2. PLAY FAIR
3. PLAY NICE
ATLANTICA OATH
