Well after 5 glorious years, maybe it's about time to except the fact that--much as I hate to admit it--Ol' Yinzburg has become a little more than the temporary madness of my life.

What else is to do in Pittsburgh but eat wings? Don't even think about going anywhere but Fatheads. It really is the easiest decision to make in the Burg.

Then, of course, there's the slightly upscale--hey, it's Pittsburgh--Church Brew Works. Sometimes the service is downright awful, but the salmon is good, and so is the beer. Besides, how often do you get to worship at the altar of your choice?

Have I really started to listen to The Saturday Light Brigade? My god, what have I done? WYEP is Pittsburgh's amazing public radio station. Adult radio for real adults. No chewing gum, plenty of Dylan, and every Thursday night, Riley

We have a wicked good video store. Heads Together started as, well, a head shop. Now they beat the daylights out of the national competition, and if you want them to carry a tape, and you can make a good argument, they'll get it.

All those free "Carnegie" libraries across the country got their start here with the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh. For a public library, this one rocks.

With every passing year, my cold Philly-bred heart warms to the Pirates. They're young, they've got the arms, and they'll kick some ass this year.
