I am fortunate enough to know a few people who are always willing to help me, should I have a question about some aspect of the nervous system.  I hereby thank them for their time and friendly help and collaboration.

  • Dr David O’Carroll.

I extend a special thank-you to Dr David O’Carroll, for sharing his extensive knowledge with me, (and clearing up some major misconceptions I had about EMDs), and for being willing to continue to be of help.

  • Dr Eric Chudler

A different field of neurobiology, but no less willing to answer any questions I may have.  He also has an informative website and newsletter where young people (and adults!) can lean various facts about the brain and neurobiology.

  • Professor Fred Delcomyn

Farve is based on the fairly well-understood neural mechanisms employed by insects for their perceptory and behavioural capabilities.  Professor Delcomyn knows about insect locomotion, and he is kind enough to provide me with some insights in this area of the insect nervous system.

The Farve Project would have been much less possible without your help.  I sincerely thank you for that help.  And when the day comes when Farve becomes conscious, I am sure he will thank you too :-)
