R ebecca was known as the "Mother Teresa" of Immortals. She housed and trained many Immortals. Luther, Henri Valjean, and the Immortal thief, Amanda Darieux, are among the list. She somehow came to possess a crystal called the Methusaleh Stone. We believe that it could have been a family heirloom, which would explain the name of the stone. It is believed that it was owned by Methusaleh, the man in history that lived to be 969 years old. When a student she had taught was to leave, she gave each of them a piece to remember their teaching and to remember her. But one of her students, Luther, wanted more. He wanted to gain the whole crystal. In 1994, she was walking with her husband, laughing and talking with him. All of a sudden, Luther appeared and held her husband with his sword to his neck. Loving her husband too much to sacrifice her life, Rebecca laid down her sword and surrendered her life and her quickening. Her legacy will live on through her student Amanda, who with the help of Duncan MacLeod, exacting revenge on Luther and killed him. Amanda still wears a piece of the crystal in rememberance.
