What is Denton County Guardianship
Services Inc.?..
We are a 501-3
non-profit organization that
recruits, trains and supports volunteers who serve as county-appointed
guardians for adults who lack capacity to make personal and business
decisions and have no one to serve in that capacity.
Guardianship is used
as a last resort, only after less restrictive alternatives have been
explored. The love and
support of a volunteer guardian dispels loneliness and protects
vulnerable and incapacitated individuals from mistreatment.
