All accessories required by women are there in India including those from Procter and Gamble and Kimberly Clark.

DRESS CODE

For European and North American women they should note that miniskirts and revealing tops are a big no in the country.

Dress modestly. Long skirts , modest shorts , jeans and T shirts are quite alright. You will see many Indian women and girls in the same attire. Avoid formfitting and revealing clothes.

If you wish to dress Indian then the salwar kamez a loose shirt and trouser like attire are most suitable. They cover you up comfortably and are very easy to move around in.

As Jemima Khan ( nee Goldsmith of London…) says , " Married in the subcontinent I cannot wear dresses that allow me to show my breasts and reveal my figures. That does not detract from my independence. "

DATING

Blondes and North European women are firm favourites for dating. You have to play it by ear and as a woman of the world you would know what you are doing.

There is a tendency for some to expect blondes to behave like BLONDES IN A HOLLYWOOD MOVIE. This ignorance results from their lack of travel to the land of Hollywood.

There is a surfeit of pornographic movies with blondes that have created another mindset. It takes but a firm word to shatter this image.

MEETING WOMEN

It will be very easy for you to strike conversation with other women. However, many may not know English. Their husbands should be able to help.

You may be the first and last foreigner visiting them. Do remember this always and you will understand why you will be special for them. Even if confused at first, remember their warmth will take away all your fears.

Meeting college going girls is relatively easy. Visit the local college or university. We recommend that you do this. The girls may appear a little less "mature" than you, but most Indian middle class girls do not step out of their homes like "European" women.
