	The Hotel The hotel was imploded with little fanfare. Some news crews and local dignitaries were present at the event.	BELCAMP, MD - On November 16, 1999, the Hotel at the Bata Shoe Company in Belcamp, Maryland was imploded. The Hotel was the home to many of the employees at Bata many years ago, and it was a place filled with memories. On the date of the implosion, Wendy ventured to the top of Bata's 5-Story Building, with a couple of the other employees, to view the event.
